 sometimes my debt panics me..... EVEN after 4 years or so.

I will be free in less than three years with a trust deed - my only option as debt management was taking too long :(

Aww Mags, I really sympathise, I hate waiting for a new mobile to arrive even when the old one is still working! I know what you mean, I was like that over New Year when I couldn't get the internet working. Have you got an old phone you can put the sim into? I kep meaning to recycle mine, have 4 old ones lying around!

    hi sarah,

I do believe that there is money to be made from old phones so unless you're feeling extremely guilty about those shoes :p:D dont just recycle for nothing although there are many charities that are glad to receive.

Big hugs to Mags - what a carp day, hope the sun shines for you tomorrow.

I'm now declaring myself a Man Free Zone  ; the thing with the OF was getting me down & no matter which way I try to view it, it's 'settling' & I'm worth more than that  :D. He has been told & his reaction confirmed I made the right choice. Also, I think the fact that I broke one of my 2 large wine glasses is very prophetic, ( not sure if that word even exists but you know what I mean) so from now on it's me, DD, the debt & imaginary dog

That's a shame, but you are right, it's not a good idea to settle. And at least you won't have to sit through any more rubbishy action films.:j

Re the shoes, I do not feel guilty and can only think of them as the most bargainy of bargains. :D

Gosh, I'd completely forgotten about that awful film * shudders & glugs simultaneously* - that alone is reason enough , thanks for the reminder :D

Absolutely no guilt re the shoes - I've spent plenty more than that on just one pair in my past life :o & currently yearning for a fabby new bag & purse but just so fussy I cant find any I like.

Thank goodness for this thread as I cant admit to my yearnings anywhere else ;)

    Hellooooooo

Oz is far too hot right now... high 30's! It hit 42 last week! Aaaaargh! I really need to fix my air-con.

On the DFW front I've gone out and bought lots of lovely fresh veg and some cheap chicken legs and tonight I'll be making both casserole and soup which between them should do me 4-6 meals :D

Hope you lot are doing well apart from the PMT/coil problems!

Oh and read my blog, it's a good 'un.
