At least you can both support each other. I'm sure you've converted him to your dfw ways. Its one thing I'm nervous about if I do actually manage to get a date. I have to either hope he's paying or go somewhere really cheap. Then again one of my friends had a first date in McDonalds and shes now marrying the guy so maybe cheap dates are the way to go.
Unfortunately he is the kind of guy that thinks dates need to be extravagant and women should be spoilt rotten, ergo because he cant do that he tends to be very depressed about the whole thing  As for him getting the dfw way, I think he still needs his own lbm and he knows that before I 'could' consider living with him I would need to have a good idea about his debts ... so terrified of getting myself on right track when I get a job to then have another yucky debt turn up that was unknown to me would flip me out lol0 -

Fortunately never hard horrendous PMT but can identify with insensitive / not listening GP's, I had what were very irregular periods for me, used to last 2 hours once a month, which was great but not normal for me, told my doctor, whose response was "think yourself lucky", turned out I had an ovarian cyst with pre-cancerous cells:eek:
thats awful some gp's need shot and i have the unfortnate job of working with them!! i told one today who was yelling and then realised he was responsible that he was worse than hitler made me laugh he was unamused

Hey! :rotfl: I haven't bought any clothes this year (19 whole days). I think it is you who is the bad influence:D
P.S. Very nice and a great bargain!
Sorry, I know that's naughty of me when you're on the £100 challenge thingy.
Don't buy from there very often, as I think it's overpriced for what it is but I do have two other dresses that I got from there about 3 years back which I was really pleased with.
Be back later, off to watch Home & Away & ogle Aden (aka Todd Lassance) bit young for me but cute never the less & I don't normally like blondes :rotfl:

gosh thats terrible, and its depressing to know that it is not uncommon. If anything happens that is 'not the norm' its should be checked out as something must have changed  Hope things are getting sorted now for you hun xx0 -
Yes, all fine now, op just over 4 years ago, all check-ups showing the right reading's in the area's.
Didn't realise quite how common it was until I spoke to one or two of my friends who'd also had the op or have friends / relatives who'd also had it.
But a least when it was eventually detected (& you hear all these complaints about the NHS) I found the whole process diagnosis / op / aftercare very thorough & I felt very reassured at the way I was looked after.Don't Take Life too Seriously - Nobody gets out alive :rotfl:0 -

Hey everyone & big old dodgy hugs all round
Welcome back to Oz TDQ & suggeset you dont read rest of this post...
Regards the pmt thing - am no longer feeling homicidal thank goodness & having read all the lovely posts on my thread this morning I promptly burst into tears & have been sniffling on & off all day since. I went to FPC to deal with contraceptive issues & had great supportive nurses & docs who recommended a coil but NOT the mirena due to the side effects particularly pmt  I was given the 10 year copper one which they still dont know how it really works  & pmt is very rare but pretty damn grim when it does turn up.
Anyway, enough of that & thanks for the advice Ossireo; I will investigate potential 'pacifiers'. Was on anti Ds last year & advised against St.Johns Wortwill now sniffle over to health & beauty board
back later

Hello everyone,
Have been on and off MSE for a few years now but can't believe I have missed this thread up until now. The OP summed up my feelings absolutely!!!
I assumed there were other single 30something women in debt and renting out there but hadn't come across them at all.
After renting on my own for 9 years (and slowly getting myself into more and more debt) I have been house-sharing for just over a year.
For those of you single girls who house-share, do you find it difficult at all to explain your frugality to your housemates. I am really trying to spend much less but goes halves on bills/food etc. My housemate is a good friend who actually owns the house (I am probably more a lodger, although have complete freedom in the house).
The feelings expressed about meeting someone (or not) when in debt are spot on. I must sit down and read through the whole thread.
My debt is such that owning my own house is light years away although my income is good enough to not need a dmp.
Anyway, fantastic thread !!!!!!Proud to be dealing with my debts
