Have checked the tv pages and there is not much on tonight so it looks like I will be tidying and decluttering instead. I just cannot get motivated at the moment, especailly as I need a chair from the kitchen to reach to top of my wardrobe and I don't want to leave the room, it's too cold!

Am wondering if there is any correlation between our single status and our problems with our mothers? Maybe a trust issue? I certainly think it makes a difference if you spend your childhood knowing there is nobody there for you. I think even as an adult, having that kind of background gives you a certain lack of confidence. I always get annoyed, if that's the right word, when I see people who are close to their mothers actually being with them and getting on. I cannot even imagine that situation.

Not sure about that but it wouldn't surprise me. I take the view that although I'm a product of my background, I don't have to be a prisoner of it. It might have helped if I'd worked that one out before I got to my mid - late 30s but I don't suppose it's a race.

    Forrest Gump. Dreadful.

Ha ha. I loved it. Wow. Ghost AND Forest Gump have been two of the films I've really liked. Guess I must be easily entertained. I'm wondering if Forest gump is better enjoyed by someone who is late 40s or older because some of the incidents relate to mid 1960s onwards and I think it may be more meaningful if you actually have memories of those times.

It isn't a race, but it's better to get these things worked out early. Could have done with it a good ten years earlier. Oh well. I know it now:rolleyes:
