Buffy, it doesn't sound like you put him off if you're meeting up with him. I think it's hardwired in women's genes for us to over-analyse everything we say/do to a guy - what you're feeling is perfectly normal, but instead of picking it all to pieces and re-reading every text for subtext, instead focus on what you're going to do when you meet up.

Re the empty flat thing...I know exactly what you mean! After flat-sharing for over 10 years I rarely have a place to myself! Right now, I'd be scuppered if I met someone and he wanted to stay over - I have a single bed!! I know... it's like being 12 years old again, but I figured, well, I haven't shared my bed for years and it's a small price to pay for having my own bathroom :rotfl:

Anyway, what I wanted to say is, don't spend the next couple of weeks worrying. Just look forward to seeing someone you love!

PS - am jealous cos I like being in love :o

but in classic (practical)Buffy style I think I might have put him off! cos in a text oh I don't know!

I know it's difficult (believe me, I know:o ) not to over analyse everything, but try to enjoy it and think positively, don't keep thinking about it like that. Instead of thinking you've put him off, just think of it as you wanted to meet him and now and you're meeting him. Success!

Okay ladies, I'm off to my bed now. Need to be up early for the start of another busy week. Will just have another read of that Sunday Times article first though (hoping it'll embed itself in my noggin while I sleep!)

    Hi y'all!!

Well, I am pooped today! Feel like I could do with another 2 hours sleep, but will have to wait I suppose (what with me being at work 'n' all!)

Had a crazy, yet fabulous dream last night - a bunch of us were escaping an army intent on killing us with paint guns and cream cakes (!) but I was too busy snogging Mikey from Boyzone :o:confused: Don't know where that one came from, but hey, a snog's a snog right, even if I am unconscious!!

So, what with that and still buzzing from the weekend's football, I'm in rather a good mood today! So much so that I've just bought that "how to get a man in your 40s" book by Shane Watson - from Waterstones via quidco for £5.59 with free delivery :T

I did have a moment of thinking should I/shouldn't I, then I realised that I can put it through my expenses as the last part of my £75 bonus, so it's free! (it does mean that I'll have spent 57p over my bonus, but I'm sure the boss won't mind!)

Also, I spoke with the Dirty Texter today. It was all about work, but heck we get on well, so I'm going to leave things as they are. If we end up just pals that's fine - he must have some single pals for me to peruse!!

Hope you're all having a fab Monday! I'm off to the gym after work - you & me Shoe Gal - back on the treadmill!

    Catch up with you later

Afternoon... I've been a bit slack over the last few days, really not looking forward to flying back to Oz on Friday :( Everyone keeps saying how glamorous it is flying all over the world to work but to be honest it's just a pain in the bum! I'm also getting sick of answering "it's sh*t, I hate it" to everyone who asks me about oz but that's really all I have to say on the subject.

On the money side I've had to empty my Oz account to keep afloat while I'm here. Unfortunately I desperately need new office shoes and black trousers but Asda didn't have either in my size (12/13 for shoes, 40"/33" trousers) so any ideas where I can pick up both for under £25???
The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

    Hello TDQO

I get what you mean about the travel thing for work, although I've never travelled as far as you do for work, mainly UK but I used yo get fed up with the "how glamorous" stuff, yeah, if you call travelling on your own, staying in hotels on your own & eating most nights on your own, unless someone from the local office you took pity on me & take me out to dinner glamorous then I think not.

With regards to the shoes / trousers are there no Tesco's near you or Matalan, sorry can't think of any other shops with value for money, reasonable stuff, is it worth waiting until you fly & trying the duty-free shops - on second thoughts probably not, prices bound to be high to catch out all those unsuspecting tourists :rotfl:
