True, more simple, but an awful lot more dull!!!!
It is funny, despite my bad experiences when I meet a potential crush I still get excited and hopeful!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

And guess what? Myself and forbidden man are going out next friday. Just the two of us. What am I doing???? I can't help myself though...LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
i think when i was single was when my spending went unchecked, and i avoided all the mounting bills and debts,
but i know that friends would have helped me out and should have let more of them know about my situation at the time would have made things much easier and would prob not have the debts now. Always talk to someone about your debts!!!£5000 debt cleared thanks to MSE advice :money:0 -

Woo Hoo! Maybe mention it to your friend tho????
So a date this friday and another next friday?!! That is fantastic!
Paul - I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience, I'm glad to read you are getting over it though . I can see how it would be hard to trust someone else again after that.I've got my own flat :j:j

Do you really think I should tell her? If the date goes badly there wouldn't be any point. I'm not sure I should even class it as a date. More, a couple of sort of friends meeting up, all completely innocentLBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -

Thank you!!!
As for the stalkers, I've never had one either. But Paul, I'm not sure moving in with a stalker is sending out the right signals...LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Hello my fellow skintees!!
Well, I'm back from my night out "up London" - what a rock 'n' roller I am, eh, back home and in my jarmies by 9.30pm!!
Had a lovely cheap night, food & drink wise, as it was a drinks reception so I filled my face with teeny tiny food
However, I spent a RIDICULOUS amount of money on train fares (£10.30!!) and parking (£8.50!!) but it was worth it to say farewell to my lovely former boss, and to catch up with some former colleagues. Ah, 'twas a lovely night.
Unfortunately after much walking and hours of standing and chatting, my beautiful but impractical shoes turned evil and decided that enough was enough and, not content making me wince every time I put any weight on them, they started to skin my toes on the walk back to the tube station  . There was no other alternative, I had to pop into WHSmith to buy a book (I am to books what Sarahb is to toiletries!). So much for my resolution to buy one proper, grown up book for every novel... I bought two grown up books! :rotfl:
There is a method to my madness, though... firstly, I am genuinely interested in "the science and politics of fear" and "who runs britain and who's to blame for the economic mess we're in". Secondly, it gives me lots of interesting insight into current affairs with which to impress potential suitors! I find it very sexy when I can talk to a man about current affairs & politics (well, unless that man's my brother! :rotfl: )
So, all in all, I've had a lovely night, my feel are on fire, and I've invested in some brain-testing books!!
How y'all doing?
