I know, I am really lucky really. I work with some people who've been with the company for years and they b!tch and moan about having to travel and I vowed that I'd never get like that. I am so so lucky with this job (and with my previous job at the same company - got to go to opening nights at museums, art galleries and theatres). I never take it for granted and always always thank my boss for giving me the opportunity to travel when I do. I only plan on being at this company for another 3-4 years while I save up to buy a house and move back up north, so I want to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.
Where did you go in America? Prior to this job, I'd only been to New Jersey (stayed with a friend and we visited New York twice - I went to the top of the Twin Towers  ) I'd love to go to New York again...£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

I'm either a rabbit or a cat depending on which one you read up one.....
I love SATC too, after watching the film I became obsessed with idea that my ex was my Mr Big!!!! Aaargh, just wish I could dress like Carrie.....and run around town in heels all day without being crippled in pain.
Good luck tomorrow Susu, looking forward to hearing news.
I'm on a course about fire risks....and I've heard it's dull!! At least there is a free lunch which is very MSE - hurrah!
OOh, Michelle, with three different possibilities surely something must come of one of them??!I've got my own flat :j:j

Sorry I was busy getting rid of the crazy stalker girl I slept with on NYE... naturally I only found out about the crazy stalker thing 24hrs after we did the dirty lol.
I'm officially available for male perspective etc from now on...
Yeah, I had one of those too a good few years back. The only way I could stop her stalking me in the end was to go live with her. Many thousands of pounds of debt later and with a head that felt on the brink of going nuts, I walked. I walked. She stalked. Had to get the police involved because she was a headcase. Eventually stopped stalking me and not heard a peep in nearly five years.
I have some great friends of both genders and just friendship it is. Sometimes I wish I didn't have sexual or emotional needs as it would make life a lot simpler.
I'm reasonably happy on my own but sometimes feel that I could be happier with someone. However, I'm not convinced. Also, there's no way I would carry a heavy debt level into a relationship of meaning as that would be unfair on the other person and would probably be a stress factor.
From this male's perspectve (bear in mind I may be biased) I would say NEVER chase any man. Some of us may be a little introverted though so there's no harm in making a first move.
I used to think that middle-aged spread was something they put on sandwiches.0 -

morning all,
SuSu & TDQ - tokers anon eh.
Lucky you with all the travelling SuSu, I'd love to visit Oz but have decided that I'd need at least 6 months & a camper... so need to do some serious saving first / meet friendly oz blokie.
To be honest all I've ever wanted to do was travel; never been ambitious career wise & never been desperate to own a house, I'd rather have a camper & a houseboat. That's probably why I dont go for suited men with sensible jobs & houses & more to the point why they dont go for me  .
Oh, I feel all yearny for freedom again now so going to check out some boats & campers on ebay - no harm in lookingI'm quite happy to cook outside over an open fire if necessary but I do need to have modern conveniences like loos & showers & that does bump the price up a bit

Paul: crikey I thought my stalkers were bad! I've had two so far and they bug the hell outta me but I got off lightly compared to you!The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha
I'm sorry for the demon I've become but you should be sorry for the angel you are not.0
