Crikey! I'm not Chinese so I don't know all the details, but what I do understand is that there are 12 animals in the Chinese calendar, so every 12 years is "your" year. (When I think back to being 12, 24 and 36, something important and life-defining happened in each year).
Just had a look on tinternet to see what's in store for the ox this year, and well, it seems you're going to be v sociable and at ease and the one to cheer up a dull evening. However, there's a chance you'll not finish projects if you can't finish them as quickly as you'd like (debt perhaps?). Here's a Chinese proverb for you: "he who moved the mountain is he who had begun with taking away small stones"
Oh, I dunno if you buy into it or not, but when I read about the characteristics of the Chinese pig, it's so much more me than the western lion£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Ooh, who's your date with? What's he like? Who asked who? Where are you going?
(I'm living vacariously through you, so make it good!!)
Oh God, the pressure!!!
Ummm, well I'm going out with a guy I met on plenty of fish. We've chatted a bit online and seem to have a similar sense of humour. Must say I'm nervous though, not been on a date in a few months. The 'set up' guy has text me today and added me on facebook. He seems nice but I'll see how Friday goes.
But, as is always the way with my life, something more complicated is happening. There's someone I like. I'm almost definitely sure he likes me too. But we met through a mutual friend who denies she likes him but talks about him ALL the time. I don't want to hurt her or risk losing my friendship with her, but I like the guy even more because I know nothing should really happen. ARGHHHH!!!!  Why am I like this? Why can't I just like someone who likes me back and where there's no complications at all?
I'm hoping that the date on Friday goes so well that I forget all about 'forbidden man' as he shall now be known.LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00 -
Slightly off topic, but I'm watching Sex and the City on telly - it's the one where all the girls are having fabulous orgasmic sex... apart from Miranda who's pottering about in her apartment in her jarmies eating chocolate cake from the bin! Go Miranda! :rotfl:

Do you know for sure your friend likes him in a sexy way? She might just like him as a friend. Why don't you just tell your friend how you feel about the forbidden man and see what she says, or more importantly how she reacts. If you don't ask you don't get...
In the meantime, busy yourself with your Friday date you lucky gal!!£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months
