    Hi Sarah

Do you already separate winter and summer stuff? I've given up on fitting everything in at once, now I have current stuff in the wardrobes and out of season stuff in proper underbed boxes. Gives me space and nags me into having a twice-a-year clearout. You could put all the summer stuff away for now, get your winter wardrobe all sorted, and then do the switchover in March-ish. Depending when we get a summer. Well, IF.

    Rosa xx

It's more that I just have lots of clothes I don't think I will wear again stuffed in my wardrobe, need to throw things away rather than store them, might do it at the weekend, will be cathartic hopefully. I also have a few unworn "what were you thinking!" unworn items, which I have decided may as well be ebayed, need to work out how to do it first though, am a technophobe. When I get my own house my walk in wardrobe will be massive.:D

    Hi Sarah

Before I eBayed, I was unsure about it, but honestly it's really easy, as is setting up a PayPal account!

With eBay, just keep it to a couple of items a week till you get used to it. You get one photo for free, so get lots of good digital pics of your clothes/shoes whatever up against a plain wall. The thing I found difficult (at first) was deciding on a price, but just have a look on the site first to see how much other people are charging and how many bids they have and that should give you a good idea of where to start.

With PayPal, you'll need 7-10 days for your account to be verified (they write to you with a confirmation code to verify your account online). Worth setting up, though because it makes buying/selling a whole lot easier and safer. Also, as your eBay money goes direct to your PayPal account it means it won't melt into your current account and get spent. It's kind of like having Quidco money!

Let me know if you need any help, but I'm sure you won't! If you think it's getting too difficult, just think of your PayPal pot of money growing and you'll soon get your head round it!

Thanks SuSu, slight problem is that I don't have a camera and not even sure how to download pics:o However, I didn't get to spend all my Boot's points in the sale and I have nearly enough to get a camera, so technically that will be free, unfortunately I am not really allowed in Boots anymore as I can't buy any toiletries:o So I will wait until I need to stock up on toothpaste etc and see if I can get enough points for a camera. I like the idea of a pot of paypal money:D

Ah, get a camera - specially if it's "free"! (v impressed as I only have about £12 in Boots points!) Can you buy it online via Quidco and still get your % back if you use points?? When you get it, downloading pics is easy peasy! Literally plug the camera into the pooter and switch it on and let the pooter take care of everything else!

(and one of the benefits of digital cameras is that you can delete any "pig in a wig" photos before anyone sees them in print!)

I would have enough points now if I hadn't spent boxing day buying a serving bowl and a rissotto set (why oh why? oh, just remembered, they were bargains:o ). They don't let you use the points to order over the internet ubfortunately. I know a few people who ebay so I will ask for tips, would be good if I could make some money using a free camera:D Thanks for your offer of help, I may be PMing you when I get the camera. Especially good to know pig in a wig photos can be destroyed:D

Just realised I have had another NSD. Am getting better at this debt busting lark:cool:

Yep, that's me & why I dont ebay  .
It does mean that the local charity shops do rather well though.
An alternative ( no fees ) is gumtree which is great & ssoo easy to use :D . Depends on whether you have a 'local' one though I suppose.

Re your concept of clothes fitting rather than losing actual lbs, that's what I'm aiming for. I may just spend some honest quality time with a tape measure later to record the current stats  so I then have a target ; one pair of 17 inch thighs please :rotfl:

    Hey there

I agree, I'm more concerned with clothes fitting than the figures on the scales. I must have countless pairs of jeans/ trousers in about 5 different sizes. Hopefully I'll be able to fit into the smallest pair eventually! My first goal is just to wear my current jeans without feeling like i'm going to explode out of them!

I kind of managed to stick to the diet today except I had a trifle which I bought on the weekend but didn't eat then which I finished today. However had v. healthy lunch, dinner and breakfast so hopefully not too disastrous!

Also signed up for tap classes which was one of my resolutions - do a dance class and also got a free trial on Lovefilm via Quidco which gets £17 cashback.:j
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)
