    * breathes sigh of relief to see Sarah back* :D :j :D

    Welcome back sweetie,

You have no idea how much you were missed & I was starting to think it was because of the clothes challenge :o .

Sorry yoy had such a carp time; I too have been laid up with hideous cold / fly type thing & now that my head & nose are back to normal I now have a lovely cough to keep me awake most of the night  .

Back to school for DD & back to work for me, or it would be if the boss had actually turned up... should have been here an hour ago; no phone call, no text just the usual f***ing typical high handed, utterly self centred & totally inconsiderate behaviour, I hate this job  . Ih well, only another 2 years to go & the minute I'm debt free I'm quitting :D .

Hugs to everyone & must go see what's happening elsewhere ....

I'm bored out of my mind, and it's cold, get to finish early so going to check if there's any vouchers for Sainsburys before I go home, and then buy a big bag of crisps and munch away all night

    Welcome back sweetie,

Thanks Lula, it's nice to be missed:D Am definitely doing the clothes challenge, as I am absolutely determined to be wearing all my lovely clothes this year, didn't actually realise that underwear was included so had a bit of a buying frenzy in M&S sale before being poorly, so I may manage this year without buying any clothes at all (says she who hasn't been to the shops this year yet.) Am going to treat myself to a hideously expensive handbag if I do it.

Had a slight problem when sorting clothes yesterday, I cannot fit another single thing in my wardrobe, can't even get my hands between any of the clothes. A trip to the charity shop beckons I think. But I can't bear to part with anything:rolleyes: . However, one of my 100 things is to wear lovely clothes every day so it will have to be done (am giving myself Jan and Feb off to be able to fit into them). I need to divest myself of all the things I haven't worn for 3 years but still think, "they might come in useful:rolleyes: ."

On the plus side I have weighed myself and am a pound lighter since yesterday, don't quite know how that happened but I won't knock it. I won't add it to my total until the end of the week just in case.

Hope everyone is well and commiserations (sp) with all who have their first day back at work today, luckily managed to get today off but back on the treadmill tomorrow. Agree with you Lula, the second I am debt free and in my own house I am leaving this job without a backward glance.:j

    Hi all :hello:

Well, my first day of going to the gym didn't happen  After having nearly 2 weeks off work, my neck and shoulders felt better, but I was in real pain by late afternoon, so I came straight home. Will go on Weds after getting my spine cracked by the osteopath (bliss :) )

However, I still haven't had any chocolate (not even yesterday, breaking my usual "couple of bags of choc raisins & peanuts" treat) AND two people asked me today if I've lost weight!! I don't think I have - I think it's just that the jumper makes my boobs look bigger and thus my stomach look smaller :rotfl:

Oh, update on the Dirty Texter... you know he blew out our date cos he was ill? Well, we texted quite a bit on Xmas day (and night). Then...nothing! I texted him on 1 Jan to say I was back that weekend, did he want to do something, and he said he was busy. Just as well, cos I was poorly anyway, but I haven't heard from him since and I know he's been in work today cos he's one of my Instant Messenger contacts. Don't know what he's playing at, but I'm too old to play games. If he gets in touch, we'll see, but I'm not going to chase after him. I'm too old to be playing games. He either wants to see me or he doesn't. Don't string me along mister! :rotfl:

Oh Sarah, have you thought about eBaying your clothes? Sounds like you'd make a killing!! I eBayed clothes, shoes, books, DVDs and (even though work paid for P&P :shhh: ) I didn't make a HUGE amount, but I got enough to pay for 12 months car tax and some online birthday present shopping. Saves having to find the money!

Hope everyone's well. I'm off to make roast chicken dinner #2! See you later!

    Hi Sarah

Do you already separate winter and summer stuff? I've given up on fitting everything in at once, now I have current stuff in the wardrobes and out of season stuff in proper underbed boxes. Gives me space and nags me into having a twice-a-year clearout. You could put all the summer stuff away for now, get your winter wardrobe all sorted, and then do the switchover in March-ish. Depending when we get a summer. Well, IF.

Re. my carp financial situation: I have an appointment with a financial advisor at Halifax tomorrow morning so will try to work out a solution.

    Hi TDQO!

Hope you get your finances sorted out. What bar stewards eh?

btw.... what was the 4th thing on your list?! ;)

I had a list of things to do before I was 30. Had to carry most of them over to my list of things to do before I'm 40 though! Mind you, in the last 7 years I've knocked quite a few off the list :rotfl:

    :kisses3: we love you :D .

I'm blessed with both & quite happy about it, just need to lose the hips & thighs & regain the waist  .
    It's not dieting I need - dont weigh much - just need to tone up so 3 of the things on my 100 list are : walk more, ride my bike more & do yoga EVERY day rather than twice a week :o . I love swimming but loathe & detest indoor public pools. I was very fit 2 years ago & gyming 3 x a week but since the lbm have been a lazy & hence now flabby moo:o :eek: :mad: :o , so;

with only £100 to spend on clothes this year :(, a wardrobe full of clothes a size too small :o & a beach/swimming holiday appointment in August :D I am on a mission to look fabulous ;) .

Are you back in the land of sunshine now ?

Good idea about the underbed boxes, I've run out of space in my wardrobe, and I have some really chunky jumpers, where did you get yours?
