Hey you lot, sorry for my abscence, has been an "interesting" time to say the least!

I don't want to rub it in for all you who stayed on their own last night but I ended going home with a lady and scratching off 4(!!) things from the "things to do before I die" list!!

The incredibly painful hangover was my punishment for enjoying myself...recovering now with pizza and Johnathon Creek :)

    Happy New Year all...

    Debt-free and Proud!
Happy New Year to you all. I had a fairly quiet one at a mates house playing charades and lots of naughty nibbles! But was really good fun!

Resolution..to come on here at least once a day and to be a lot more aware of my spending..

Hope 2009 is a good year for us all!

Good work TDQO... a great start to 2009 for you !!

I've had my first NSD of 2009 today :) I've challenged myself to 12 this month and that IS a challenge for me! I've never managed more than 8 before but I'm really going to try my best this year (or at least the first few months till the novelty wears off lol)
I've got an expensive weekend ahead, going to Middlesbrough to watch my team play in the FA cup and I'm seriously considering buying me and DD shirts..but I just don't know...I can't afford it but DD lives in football shirts, maybe I should just get her one..but I tried my Dad's on on xmas day and I loved wearing it...Oh I just don;t know, guess I'll decide tomorrow when I get to the shop....

I think I must have missed some posts somewhere along the line and have no idea where Sarah has gone, can anyone enlighten me?

    Hi Bowski

Sarah hasn't posted for a bit, we are hoping that she's met Mr Wonderful and been whisked away somewhere beautiful and mountainous with a roaring fire etc

*tries not to worry or wonder how to send out search parties into online sales*

  • Hi all - spare a thought for those of us who are in work and rushed off our feet today with all those busy phone calls..........................zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (no phone calls and 1 other colleague in the building!)

I was dreading the run up to New Year but it's actually not been too bad. I can keep myself amused easily enough and did a 'spring' clean of the flat yesterday which took most of the day in between cups of tea and watching dvds.
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
