I didn't have the paper ready, was planning on talking to her then writing down my details if she didn't slap me! Tomorrow I have to be at a mine for a meeting by 7.30am so no bus for me
TDQO came about aaaaages ago when I was 16/7 and had just started going out in town with mates. I'm a big, rugby player type bloke but I never get aggressive when drunk, I tend to hang back and watch situations unfold. Basically one night we were out and we had several groups of lads try to start trouble and each time I hung back, silent, watching for someone to make a move so i could intervene. My mates (obvs) know that I play rugby and also used to have regular unarmed combat sessions with the RM and one of them said that I was "the dangerous quiet one who hangs around at the back and kicks the crap out of people when they don't expect it**" and I decided to start using it as my forum name on several forums... there ya go!
** I haven't ever had to do this because I'm much better at persuading people to leave asap than hurting them. The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Otherwise, you are bound to lose a truck, sooner or later. Source: Sergio Cha

Saying that, I do get used as a "bouncer" at parties etc fairly often. Whenever someone causes trouble or wont leave I always get asked to persuade them to leave. I've lost count of the times I've been used as a surrogate boyfriend to persuade blokes to !!!! off. The funniest thing about it is that I've never, ever had to actually hit anyone because they're always too scared to get physical, even on the odd occasion where I've been dealing with groups of guys on my own they prefer to leave...hmmm.The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. Ooh, you sound dreamy!! I love a big rugby-type bloke
However...I suspect I'm twice your age and anyway, your heart belongs to the bus gal and I've got a date with a dirty texter lined up :rotfl:£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

I've been stuck in the flat all day, working from home. Some of my colleagues have been coming in with colds and coughing, sniffing, sneezing... so surprise surprise I've caught their germs
I could've gone in today but as my pal at the desk opposite is pregnant (with twins!) I didn't want to make her poorly. Will take you all to my bed inabit so we can get lovely and warm together
So, all in all, it's been a 3 dwarf day for me: Grumpy, Sneezy and Dopey. :rotfl:£27k (excluding interest) paid off in 29 months

Hello everyone,
I'm starting to feel all christmassy now. Lots of people along the road have their lights up & I like it. It's that great British spirit of " yeah we're all skint now but hey it's nearly christmas so lets get cheerful & bring out the sparklyness". Cant bear those ones that flash manically like they're on acid though  .
So looking forward to time off work, my last day is the 20th & I'm not back til 5th January:j
plenty of time to eat drink & be very damn merry
.
TDQO - I kinda guessed what the T, Q & O were for, was just ruminating over the D. Being a rugby player is about the finest sportsman to be I reckon  .
Bowski - shame we dont live closer, I would happily spend an evening driving around & stalking...perhaps the o/f wouldnt mind if we did that rather than cinema :rotfl: . Havent heard from him to confirm but I dont really care as it's just going to be fun not being mummy for 23 whole hours.
I'm considering launching a challenge to only spend £100 on clothes for the whole of next year  . I've done an inventory of my 'collection' & reckon I will only need to buy a few tshirts for the summer & maybe a pair of jeans (ok that's a want rather than a need).
Would anyone be interested in joining me ?
Sarah - sorry, I know that's like swearing on this thread but maybe we could help eachother resist0 -
