Thank you lovely people & yes o/f is the old flame of previous week end fame .

Got to be honest, the allotment & family option I just put in the list to make myself sound like a nice person, it wasnt ever going to happen .

I would definitely prefer not to spend an evening at the cinema (particularly as it's a mere few days since I declared that i would never have to watch any film of that ilk again :rolleyes: )however, i shall keep Ossireos wise words in my mind as my ear drums split due to the volume of the gunfire ... yawn.

I do need to be very cautious about this though as I really dont want to get too involved; I know this o/f is not 'the one' for me. We had a casual thing going on before i met xbf - who seems to have finally taken on board that he is now surplus to requirements :j - & I really am not interested in anything more than that; friendship with a bit of extras on the quiet .

Yeh there's a few of them hanging around. How come it's so quiet in here?

The girl-on-the-bus wasn't on the bus today which shredded my theory and left me listening to two 15yr old girls behind me talk about how many fights they started last week and how they got people suspended... not the most fun journey ever!

hmmm... Maybe the girl on the bus is on holiday this week?? Hopefully she'll be back next week so you can have a chat with her before you go. Great time to give her your facebook details so you can keep in touch over Christmas/New Year. And... if you get to know each other online first, you'll know if you have enough in common with her to pursue asking her for a date when you get back. If you don't have enough in common to ask her out on a date, keep in touch anyway - she's bound to have some single gal pals!!

Lula, I know just how you feel, I love it when I know DD is sleeping out. I phone my friends up saying 'I'm not a mother tonite, what shall we do?' It usually ends up me and my friend driving round stalking guys we fancy lol Totally showing my childish side I know, but we always have fun! I think o/f is a good option and I know you want to keep it very casual but if you agree he only stays when DD sleeps out and I gather it's not too often then you won't have to see him often I hope you enjoy your time off whatever you decide to do anyways.

I've had a bit of male company tonite Just a friend fixing my washing machine, but he came about 5ish and has only just gone. I must admit I do like a bit of male company from time to time!
