Aarrgh! You just reminded me that I forgot to rearrange appointment for next week! Realised it was a white filling and not actually a tooth so feel a bit better about it. Night night x

Evening all.... This thread has moved pretty fast tonite!!

Is the party still going or has everyone gone to bed? I'm gonna grab myself a brew and have a scan of the threads. I'm in such a  mood today because of the cheeky f**kers at housing benefit and my boss. I could really do with not thinking about it but until I get to speak to them tomorrow I can't get it out of my head!

I've decided I'm gonna have a late night tonite, coz whenever I have an early night I always sleep in the next day  like this morning for example lol Like Monday's aren't bad enough without sleeping in :p

On a lighter note, a bloke who goes in my Mams pub fixes washing machines and it's looking like I'm gonna be able to get mine fixed for £12.50 rather than having to buy a new washing machine :j :j :j

I don't remember who asked me about the car from memory, but whoever it was...yes I'm going to buy it! Gonna save up all my child maintenance payments :D

Stupid time difference, makes it bloody hard to keep up with what's going on.

PinkTwirl: Seriously, stop blaming yourself! Any man who hits a woman is a !!!! and doesn't deserve his balls.

On the subject of internet dating: I've considered it quite often but I'd just feel too cheesy and with my record I'd end up with a complete psycho!

On the subject of bus-girl: I'm going with the theory that she only gets the bus on thurs and fri mornings so another couple of days before I see her...if at all.

On the subject of drinking: I can't wait for my first pint of English beer, the stuff they sell over here in Oz is beyond awful and always fizzy!!

On the subject of English beer: Got my flights confirmed, I'm back in the UK 19th Dec, wooooo!

So did any of you get lucky over the weekend???

That;s the plan... I fly back next thursday evening so I've got a potential 3 bus journeys to work up the nerve! Although if I doesn't happen til next thurs I'd have to go into a whole loooong explanation of how I'll be unreachable for the next month... I'd have to make sure I got her numebr or facebook or something incase she wasn't on the bus next year! What a hassle!

Thanks Sarah.. yes I think the offer was too good to miss out on, I just hate spending so much money...unless it's on chinese lol

TDQO... 19th December is not so far away, hopfully it'll pass quickly for you. Do you live/work in Oz permanently? What area in the UK are you from?

I got very lucky this weekend, my friend bought me a chinese :) Now that's what I call lucky haha!! Other than that, not much luck, same as every other weekend!! I just cannot be bothered going out unless it's in a different town which I can't afford to do alot!

I've got a obsession with checking my online banking, I do it all night. Each time hoping there'll be cash in there.... but there never is. I know exactly what I have going in and out my account so I don't know why I bother, I live in hope:o

I feel quite sad...tomorrow it's my friends b'day, she died when she was 9, I was 8 it was 19 years ago yet every year it still upsets me. I feel like I really miss her, I think I just wish I had the chance to still know her now. And I think my DD is older than my friend was when she died and it just makes me feel so sad to think what her parents must go through. God I'm crying now, I'm being a right wimp today :(

Oh I've just had a thought, maybe you could pass her a piece of paper with your name on and ask her to add you to Facebook if she'd like to chat. That to me doesn't seem as sleazy as just passing your number. But you could also put you number on for incase she doesnt have facebook?
I don't know if that makes sense lol I know what I mean though. I hope ya get to see her this week :)

Hmm I'm not sure what to say except that at least she died when she was young and innocent, without experiencing any of the heartache and pain that is evident all over this forum.

Good one on the chinese, it counts as a healthy meal too with all that veg etc in it... ;)

I'm a mining engineering student who's spending a year in Oz as part of my degree, it's been a complete ballsup so far so we guilt tripped the company into flying us back for xmas. I go to uni in Falmouth in Cornwall, parents live in different parts of Somerset.... Whereabouts are you?
