  • I'm still not even sure what it feels like to be in a relationship - LOL!!! Maybe it would change me too.

I think my expectations as far as men go were set artificially high at an early age with my Hart to Hart addiction when I was a kid. If he's not a self-made millionaire with a private jet, a Rolls Royce and a butler, then I'm not interested!

Hart to Hart? that is so Seventies:p

You'll be talking about the Six million Dollar Man next!

Ooh no! you're forgetting the nice feeling you get when you see the little message icon on your phone! I hate the constant checking but love getting nice little messages. Horse post? I need instant gratification! Couldn't bear the mooching around sighing like the heroine of a Victorian melodrama when the post didn't come! I'm bad enough waiting for parcels to arrive.:o

any more requests while I'm at the bar....

Smiley, the nickname thing drives me mad. I've a male pal who calls his friends by nicknames (usually surname related) and then will introduce me to Doug, Paul, Jason etc and wonder why I've no idea who they are.

  • Thanks.

Things were fine up until I starting trying to "help" him i.e. how to do things. Maybe if I'd kept my mouth shut and spoken up for the important stuff only I'd be not looking at being alone.

I'm not a barrel of laughs sorry, can I have a cocktail please?

Ah but you see you send the letter and know you can't get a reply for at least a week so you have a week in which to play piano buy hats, gossip and sew or what ever else they used to do, before the anxiety creeps in and you feel (in my case) fat and unloved.

Now - look at phone, check face book , check okcupid, and its not as if there is any one on the horizon!

when there is I am embarrassing with the checking !
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I think I went straight from the adventures of Jonathan and Jennifer (and little Freeway of course) to The A-Team. Ahem, sad thing is, I had to do a presentation to my primary 1 class about my favourite tv show and there weren't many 5 year old writing about 2 randy millionaires who always managed to see their friends killed in their weirdest of situations :o Yup, I was what you would call 'a weird kid'!!!
Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!

I used to watch it with my Mum!

Oh a life of luxurious crime fighting with a fab car and cute dog!
    Nevertheless she persisted.
