    Hmmm,

havent actually dont the tarot / birth chart thing for a while but the tree thing happened not long after meeting xbf - suggest you avoid that one though as apparently far too effective, am considering a return visit to try & reverse it  .

Big (((hugs))) for you & your fedupness Buffy, sometimes it just all gets so tedious with no end in sight.

Having consumed a peanut butter & jam sandwich that by tomorrow morning will no doubt have transformed itself into the 4lbs I've lost  I'm heading off to bed with a new book.

In case anyones is thinking of some retail therapy here's a quote :

" Only two big facts are known for certain: you are on a large spinning rock that is hurtling through lonely space at about 67,000 mph, and one day your body is going to die. Will a new pair of shoes really help ? "

Think we all know the answer to that is : Hell yes :D

    G'nite xx
  • I have started many OU courses, and then dropped out. I always did things at the last minute at school and uni and now at work. I WISH I knew why!

Oh, this is me! Was always top of the class in primary school, moved to secondary school, couldn't cope with the competition and stopped trying, passed exams by the skin of my teeth, passed degree, also by the skin of my teeth (did the bare minimum). Am so disorganised. Do absolutely everything at the last minute. Had an appraisal at work recently. My boss, who is lovely, said, "You're like me, you do the absolute minimum to get by." He's right. If I can't be the best, I won't compete. My room is so untidy. I will tidy it, it's tidy for a couple of days, then all hell breaks loose. I read self help books. I think, "ooh, what a good idea." I can't keep it up. Am rubbish:o I don't know why. I shall look for a book on it.:D

You're so right, it doesn't hurt but it doesn't really matter; we just want nice, kind, thoughtful, clever and decent men. We are only joking about the money. There are far, far more important things. Obviously we are not going to turn someone down for having the cheek to be rich:D but it is way down the list.

*bans SBC from thread based on refusal to provide evidence of riches*

    (and not being Italian).

Actually I was only thinking that having more business knowledge might help me get richer, not whether getting rich would affect my chances with women.

I already know I seem to be drawn to women with a more mercenary attitude than yours & until I figure out why & how to avoid them, I'm steering clear of women altogether (except on here of course)

Arrgh! It's late and I'm tired! Is that a compliment or an insult? Do I have a mercenary attitute? I am only teasing! We all mention rich men because we would hardly turn them down for being rich. But for most of us that is not even on the list. We want decent and kind. We really, really do.

Oh thank goodness! Hardly need to be displaying a mecenary attidude. Tony Robbins would be furious! And the self help books frown on it.

  • Having debt is very stressful. I'm a college student and although my parents have been kind to cosign any loans i receive, it is up to me to pay them back and even though i'm only a month away from graduating they are starting to contact me and warn me that soon i will have to pay. i am worried- how am i going to work, support myself and pay off a loan? So i looked for other ways to earn money. Currently I don't have a full time job b.c school consumes up much of my time so i complete surveys online and get paid for it. i have been doing this for a few months now and i've gotten into a system so when i graduate and have a full time job i can apply that money from my full-time job to my debt and apply the money i earn from surveys to everyday necessities, going out, presents, etc. It all depends on how much you put into it. I hope everything works out for you and if you have any questions feel free to message me.
