Hi, i agree with Lula someone else got my life plan and I'd like to know who, all I wanted and I swear I don't want a lot, is a boyfriend who I see a couple times a week, who can have a bit of a conversation, and a bit of sex, oh and to go out every once in a while, why is it so hard to find someone who fits that bill, but I seem to meet all the needy mummy's boys who want looking after

Probably because those of us who are like that & looking for the same in a girlfriend only seem to attract spoiled daddies girls

Other than that it's Friday and I have the Friday feeling, I'm so excited.

    Hey eco,

you have just described the perfect relationship :D . That's pretty much what I had going with xbf until we hit some trouble about 6 months in when I lost my mum, which knocked me sideways until I took a course of anti-depressants. Since we had a 5 week separation he's now keen to resume as per the original agreement & I see many benefits to that ... ;)

You might find some rugged sheep farmer / mountaineer type person on your hol, you sure you want to take your nephew ?

Smamfer, good luck with the date :D how exciting.

Sundy, you're probably right, typical isnt it

I expect I'll be popping in later as I have no money or life :o

hi Lula, it took me ages to get over the worse of losing my mum, cos she had cancer, it hit me hardest when I realised she wasn't getting better it was gradually getting worse, all she kept saying was she was ok, so we didn't worry.
If i do find a rugged sheep farmer I'll push my nephew off Snowdon, my sis keeps warning me he eats everything so he should go down fairly fast.

    Hello everyone!

oh I've got a few xmas presents today i'm well excited! I got a right bargain for DD's dad's present. I wouldnt bother coz he aint worth a penny but I know she'll want to get him something so its the right thing to do I guess. Anyways I was in Hitchens and seen a 'dad' photo frame for 69p It's really nice and rrp was £14.99 and then I seen a 'worlds greatest fisherman' coaster for 39p lol I've taken the prices off to show DD them later, she'll be made up with them I know she will. I really would have begrudged spending any more than 98p on the waste of space.

How are people getting dates, i've never been on one! I'd love to go on a blind date, I'm sure it would turn out a nitemare but it'd be good to look back on i'm sure lol I've decided I deffo don't want a boyfriend for ages because the last 2 relationships I've had, when I've started it I havent wanted a boyfriend but then I meet guys and think 'oh he's lovely , i can't go without a boyfriend forever , ya don't know..it might work out' and all that palarver! Anyways they've both ended and now we're not even friends where as I'm sure, my last relationship especially we'd have made great friends if we hadn't turned it into a relationship!
I'll have changed my mind next week tho probably haha!!

Done my last gym session now until monday, it'll be nice to have a rest! I've really enjoyed it tho, I go with my friend and sister and we have a right laugh.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. I will prob back later but bye for now

I shown her them, she really likes them lol She asked me how much and I just said 'not much' lol

Anyways I've fallen out with her now :p the little monkey has just told me something about hollyoaks even though I just sat in a different room to her to eat tea coz I told her I didn't want to see any of it and don't want to spoil it will watch it on sunday. She's just come in the room and said 'can I tell ya something?' So obviously I said 'yes' and she tells me something about it!
I'm even not gonna go on facebook all weekend coz everybodys had in their status bout how good its been so I know it'll mention something!!!! I just can't believe she did it

DD is sleeping at my Mams tonite coz I've got work in the morning and my mate's just text to ask if we can go for a drive coz she's bored. Think I'll drive her to the drive-thru and she can treat me to a diet coke lol :D

Grrrrr! Just wrote a really really long post, forgot to copy, and then lost it! :mad: Anyway, will try again.

Eco, I totally agree, in fact I think we should make what you said the thread mantra, no one is allowed to join unless they learn it by heart:D Am not obsessing too much about men at the moment, I intend to restart, "I will die alone and childless unless I get a man, I have left everything too late," in the new year (when I will be sylph like with fab clothes and shoes, and will be carrying a fab bag, how can that man-bagging plan possibly fail:rolleyes: ) I am more concerned with weight and money at the moment, not doing too much about them but plenty of guilt laden thinking. I have been out and done a low carb food shop today, so there is nothing yummy in the house, except wine, so am expecting good things from myself this week. I will do it, I will, I will.

Well, decided to join the local library on Saturday, it beiong 5 mins walk from my house and a source of free books. Hmmm. Very disappointed. It's tiny! I have more books than that library, and I'm not exaggerating! Only saw 2 books I would want to borrow, so not really worth joining just for them. Plus it was grubby and smelt odd. And I could not help notice the distinct lack of good looking intellectuals nodding wisely. I may go back to investigate the posters in the entrance re language lessons, or failing that, investigate the OU. I may try one of the libraries in town as I should imagine they are bigger and cleaner and have a more varied and up to date choice. And lots of good looking intellectuals nodding wisely. The problem there is that the bus fares there and back would be enough for at least 2 books. Plus being in town, I would have a look in the shops which would result in me having to get a taxi home with all the stuff I looked a bit too hard at.

Closed a credit card at the weekend, I had been meaning to do it for ages, thought it might improve my credit rating after being turned down for an increase on my overdraft a few weeks ago. Only have 1 cc left, has a 0 balance on it, am keeping it just for emergencies, so it's not in my purse. Made me feel very sensible and grown up.:D Now just the loan and overdraft to tackle:mad:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend x
