Ooh! I have a pair of these! Sadly I can't do the zips up to the top, slightly ruining the effect. Didn't know they were called that though. What a lovely thread. I remember when I left my ex, I was 21, bruised and battered complete with two kids and a massive amount of debt he'd lumbered me with. I felt so alone.
Sarah and everyone else, I just want to say that you guys are made of stuff to be proud of, soldiering on on your lonesome is hard work no matter what anyone says, and you ought to be really proud that you are dealing with it in this way instead of burying your head in the sand the way I did. I'll always regret handling my debt in that way. Got DH to bounce off now, but it wasn't always that way and I'll never forget the struggle. Hello everyone - thanks so much to sarahb124, SBC and tonycb6 for the warm welcome.
SBC - nice fmb's by the way - do you just wear them around the house, don't look like they've been worn out! :rotfl:
I want to wish the dieters amongst you all the best of luck with reaching your goals by Christmas! You can do it! Please keep us updated on your progress.

My update on weight loss: nothing again!   Don't know why I am using the angry icon, it's all my own fault:mad: Not sure where I get the idea from that if I eat nothing but rubbish I can expect to lose weight. It's not working anyway.
Anyway, onwards and upwards, I shall try harder this week, if I can lose another 3lb in the next 10 days-2 weeks, that will be a quarter of my target. Am so sick of nothing fitting me! I want to be slim again! It is affecting every part of my life at the moment. Need to make a concerted effort, when I can see results, that will spur me on. So difficult though! I can't remember if anyone has lost anything this week but I will go through the thread and check posts/sigs in the next couple of days and update.
Hope everyone is ok, the thread seems to be dying a death at the moment!Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

No I just take them along to 1st dates in case my date isn't wearing her own.
Most of them refuse though & I don't get second dates which is why they look so new I guess.0 -

You must be the female equivalent of me.
My last venture on to there I started seeing someone who turned up at my doorstep expecting to move in after we'd had 4 dates because her boyfriend found out she'd been seeing other blokes & chucked her out
I tried match.com & after I did a search the picture staring back at me of my best match was a woman from the same office who'd admitted to everyone that she scared blokes off because she gets a bit obsessive & stalkerish :shocked:0 -
:hello: Butterfly... congratulations on becoming debt free this month
:hello: Petrafyde..Thanks for your words of encouragement!!
Sarahb, I know just how you feel, week in week out I eat utter crap and am still dissappointed at the end of the week when i've gained weight lol Start again this week, we'll let ya! Just have a small aim, like xmas, its not too far away and as soon as its over you can eat when you want again (although the idea is once you get there, you'll be feeling so good from your weight loss that ya wont want to go back to eating bad!)
Yargo how did you do with the weight loss this week? hope you've done ok after all ya hard work at the gym! Ohh FMB's on sat night eh! I think you should take a pic for SBClol
I must say I'm having one of my better weeks, which i'm glad about after the last 4-5 weeks being so bad. I guess i'm just lucky that I've not put as much weight on as I've deserved.
The gym is going fantastic, I;m right into it. Went 3 times last week and been again today. Tomorrow we're doing all cardiovascular stuff so i'm gonna be sloggin my guts out in there, for some reason I'm really looking forward to it.
I've managed to have an NSD today and I'm hoping tomorrow is going to be one too. I'm working at my Mam's pub tomorrow, there's a pool presentation on...can't imagine how many treats are going to be there hehe! So work in the day then the gym, work in the evening should be enough to stop me from spending
I'm going to have an early night tonite so i'm ready for my busy day tomorrow.
Hope everyone's ok and that all dates went well (updates please lol)Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
