Single and in debt.

Hello everyone,
let's all have a big old :grouphug: .
Ossie - I'm not going to re fuel the fire but I need to say : also single parent, had the anxiety/depression, intelligent hard working & educated but full time employment difficult due to childcare issues & also like you and many others doing the best I can, and have also taken years of stigma abuse.
I would also like to point out that just because a young girl gets pregnant doesnt necessarily mean that she will be a bad parent so I dont think anyone should be judging anyone else. Wealthy mature couples may have more money & material items to throw at their children...that doesnt necessarily make them good parents.
Moving on ...
A juicy big fat zero in the weight loss department ; xbf popped round today & has fitted a new innertube to my bike so at least I can get myself out & exercising again  . I've been to the allotment this week & gathered up some free & delicious potatoes & rapsberries
It's friday tomorrow & I have no work :j so I'm going to do some shopping, repay DDs cash into her account - reluctantly as relatives made cheque payable to mebut I've temporarily enjoyed having money in my account
& all good thing have to end so be it .
I think my debt has peaked now - hope so& I've paid £50 off cc1 this week. I was going to cancel my accident insurance but having checked out the figures I may well be prepared to lose a minor digit in order to pay off debt should I become unemployed
.
DD wants to go spending her birthday money on saturday so I shall have to just watch- it will be torture but cheap :rotfl:

Good evening everyone!! Hello to the newbies :hello:
Well I put 1.5lb on this week, no more than I deserve to be honest, I had choc and cakes and pies and crisps again this week. It's not good, it's gonna have to stop! On the plus side tho-I joined the gym today :j Went with me sister and our friend, going to try and go at least 3 times a weekI'm back there tomorrow and Saturday. If after 3 weeks i'm right into it and I know i'm going to stay then I'll leave slimming world and get weighed at the gym once a week. She weighs us once a week anyways so the £4.50 I spend at slimming world I can pay for a gym session, get weighed and have change!! Even if I just went to the gym once a week and got weighed still works out better. But hopefully I'll not go less than 3 anyways. I've certainly no excuses because I finish work at 2 and DD most days has a club till 4:15.
I've had a pretty busy (and expensive  ) day today. Gym was free as I have 13 sessions that I got for my b'day but then afterwards went to morrisons for dinner, it was soooooo good. Then I had my volunteering, then straight out for tea with a friend...that was yummy aswell! and then been driving round all night, went to the beach. just sat there in the car in the dark with the window open, I love the sound of the seaWent to Mcd's and my friend treated me to a kitkat Mcflurry..yum! I've spent about £12 on food today tho and I dont like doing that! It was deffo a one off treat!
I went shopping lastnight, got some good offers, don't know if they have it in all stores but our asda were doing tins of tuna in brine for 50p ! I bought 10 tins haha. We go thru it so quick in this house and its just so expensive, i'll only buy it if its on offer. Also I got some washing powder that was £3.50 down from 6 or 7 quid odd
For some reason I've got money missing out of my account but its not updated yet showing what it is, Its annoying me because I've no idea atall what is it but I tried to order razorlight tickets the other day and put all my details in and once i'd pressed the button to confirm my order it said all the tickets had sold out! But it seems to be for about the same amount I owe for the tickets thats not accounted for. It's really annoying me, I hate internet banking sometimes, I check it about 20 times a day though... it never blinkin changes!
I am off to sleep. I'm already in bed, just need to plonk my laptop on the floor then I'll be out like a light!
As the weekend is almost here, does anybody have any plans for this weekend? I think it's going to be a quiet one for me...hope so anyways!

Ooh, never thought about meeting a man there.:D I will join, it's very lazy of me not too, I can see it from my window! Would be brilliant if they did Spanish or Italian classes there as well:D
I used to go to the library pretty regularly while I was recuperating & all the females there seemed to either be under 13 or my mams age so you probably wouldn't have any competitionAnd the money saved will go to a good home- the shoe shop. I have decided that needs must, I need to get a couple of lovely pairs of shoes for work, I always go for comfort as I am on my feet a lot, but I could meet someone at work and immediately put him off with my current lovely shoe boots:o So I have decided to go for painful but pretty. I think my current single status can be blamed firmly on sensible footwear. So really they will be an investment.;)
Can't say I know any (straight) bloke who checks out a womans footwear when they first meet. Something extreme like a pair of big bunny rabbit slippers might get noticed but that's about it.
We all know we're supposed to comment on how nice your shoes are at the beginning of a date & sometimes we even remember in time but it probably hasn't occurred to us to look first to see if it's true.0 -
I guess its just a woman thing then but a guys footwear is soooooooooooooo important!!! I know it wont be to all women but to me its the next thing I look at after the teeth ! And I know to alot of my friends footwear is important too!Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

Is this the cleaned & highly polished thing or a preference for a particular style? (shoes that is not teeth)

You are probably right, but when I am wearing nice shoes I feel better (despite not being able to walk) and and more confident. So, even from that point of view they are worth it.
