  • runmichellerun if you just buy a sachet or two each week then you'll not be able to have anymore? Good luck with the weight loss, 8.5lb is a realistic achievement.

PF... Good luck with the interview tomorrow. How was your walk home from work? How far was it? I know someone who's lost loads of weight and she's done it just through walking to work and back.

Well my great intentions of going to the gym today didn't quite happen lol No suprises there!! But to be fair I completed my 12.5 mile walk yesterday and today my whole body is killing!!! I can't wear trainers due to the blisters on my feet so I've given up on the idea until my feet are better lol I will do it tho, I'm well up for it!!

Hope everyone's had a good day, even if it is monday!!!

    Hey everyone,

Welcome back Yargo & 'grats on the weight loss :D

Good luck for next interview Paddlingfuriously

Well done on huge walk Bowski - mission completed ;)

Sadly runmichelle if I had the answer to your question then I probably wouldnt be trying to lose 14lbs - oh yeh, the 2 I lost last week have found me again this morning

Nevermind on the singles do Norm - personally I think wine tasting sounds far better & I reckon a 'maiden' (?) uncle could have a lot of fun ;)

I saw a book in the library today called "No I dont want to join a book club" & thought of everyone here :rotfl: . I very nearly chose it then got worried in case the assisstant thought that I was in my 50's & wondering what to do with my life :o . Not that there's anything wrong with being in the 50's of course, just that I'm not there...yet .

All out of bitter lemon here :( so going to bed completely sober

    G'nite all

  • Hello everyone, hope you're all ok.

weigh day tomorrow. I really don't know what to expect, I've not eaten great but I'd say I've had my best week out of the last 3, so for that reason I want to step on the scales and it say I've lost the 3.5lb I've put on the last 2 weeks :( But realistically I know that aint going to happen so  . I know I shouldn't be too put off if I have a gain because like I say I haven't been great. Part of me thinks I deserve to lose 3 stone in 1 week just coz I went on a walk... does anyone else think like that?? Sometimes I feel like I deserve to lose coz of something stupid like - I ate 1 apple!

I think i'm just talkin carp lol

I really must get myself to bed, I'm shattered. Hope everyone's ok, catch up with you all soon.

Ossireo - step away from that bar of galaxy (& send it to me instead ;) )

Bowski - you are so funny, I feel exactly the same about 1 apple cancelling out the 2 bags of crisps & 25 cookies I've scoffed :o

I've been rubbish with the diet , I just seem to be hungry all the time & too busy to do any excercise * she said whilst sitting on her enormous backside  *

Ok, 1st of the month tomorrow so unless I want to be heffalump for the start of 2009 I have 3 months max to shift this lard

going to go to bed & dream myself thin now

Morning all.. just thought id pop on and say hi while on my tea break.

Finding it tough back to both jobs this week.. and although pay day was yesterday now have about thirty quid after majority bills gone out until 15th when i get lodgers money ...were all in the same boat i know..but its pants sometimes!

hmm, going to go to the gym today...for the circuit class.. went two weeks on trot, then missed last week so got to go for it.. was bad though the 2nd time, didnt push myself and was shocked when the class had ended as i had been trying to take it steady and thought was only half way through..so i MUST make more effort this evening!

    have a good day all

  • Evening ladies. How's everyone doing?

I haven't had much to contribute to the thread lately as it's all a bit alien to me.

Last time I was weighed was 1992

    Hey SBC,

    You're such a wit ;)

dont know where everyone else is but I'm here & in need of a good laugh. You lucky thing, ladies get weighed at various intervals in their lives, but I wont horrify/bore you with the gory details. Weight loss the last thing on my mind tonight - I GET MY CAR BACK TOMORROW :j thank goodness, the stress of trying to reverse out of the garage without scratching shiny hire car was really getting to me. My lovely old banger is used to getting its wingies bashed - hence the gaffa tape :o.

I'm feeling very single & in debt tonight - credit cards been in use again as have no savings & no OH to borrow from & frankly I just cant see an end to it, & it's really ticking me off. If I could just have one whole month when I have no unexpected extra expenditure I could catch up with payments & get a bit of a cushion.

moan, moan, moan etc etc etc

  • hi guys,

    Haven't been here a while.

    no weight loss,

    no boyfriend.

still miss ex or at least I think I do, cos I am not sure if it is just a reflex now? hmmmmm.

and had Ofsted at work which was utterly hideous.

    very glad its over.

dieting is not good at all. I need to go shopping but haven't got time.

think I might try on line!
can anyone suggest GOOD TASTY snack food - I am a grazer and survived today on chocolate and tea and other crap.

    xx
