    Tee hee! Very good!

Feeling proud of myself as I just resisted the biscuits in the kitchen and had two apples instead. I even put the biscuits in the bin...might have to put washing up liquid on them to make sure I definitely can't dig them off the top and eat them later!!!! ;)

you can't get biscuits out of the bin it's disgusting but then again it's not very DFW putting them in in the first place, but you did make me laugh
  • I wouldn't really - not for hob nobs. A big chocolate cake might be a different story though!

Hi, I'm going at October half term it's the first holiday I've booked myself my ex used to do all that, cos I'm lazy at getting round to sorting stuff out, but I'm getting quite excited now after reading the booklets i got from the Welsh tourist board, my nephews a good walker most of the time, just got a few more maps to get and I'm sorted. The weather's been fantastic today better than summer so did some gardening, hope everyone else had a good day.

Welcome back Buffy:hello: No Chrismas challenge as such, we just mostly seem to be aiming for Chrismas with the weight loss, and we have ages yet:D

Well doe Ossierio, 3.5lb is fab! Happy Birthday for yesterday, and well done with your competition, had a look at the link, looks fabby!

Lula, that is quite frankly the best weight loss tip I have ever heard. :D And being TOLD to eat chocolate!

Have updated list and am mightily relieved I am not the only one who is at 0lb.

Bowski, am keeping you at 0, we don't count weight gain on the Holy Freaking Kack Pants super duper diet, but if you lose the pound next week we will count that. It's that sort of diet plan. :D

I keep thinking I've got ages too.

but not really! but I like the style of this diet thread! very good!

bit of silly plan now but hey I am telling you all any way.

When I saw the ex- boyfriend's car the other day it really shocked me how bad I felt.

Any how without going in to details I have decided to loose weight and have a general life sort out in time for Christmas and hope that I bump into him - we frequent the same places around Christmas and it would be good to be looking fab around then, for many reasons - 1. he might change his mind 2. I might actually look good enough to have the confidence to pull some one else! 3. In general with work and other stuff going on it will do me the world of good to actually do this, achieve something I have wanted for a long time

Buffy go pull some one else, they'll probably be 10 times better than your ex and serve him right

Yeah I hear you, its a mixture of wanting him back and then having a dread of bumping into him with his new bit of stuff (- not that I know he is seeing any one) looking as fat and spotty as i do now.

plus which I am feeling SO FRUMPY at work.

    Hey Buffy,

I know exactly what you mean about not wanting to bump into ex whilst resembling a lard pudding ( me that is, not you ;) ) Seeing ex bad enough, seing ex with new 'bit' worse, seeing ex with new thinnner/younger/prettier 'bit' just unbearable & confirms why one happens to be single, still  .

Feeling good about oneself shouldnt revolve around being thinner than one is, but if being one size smaller is going to boost ego, confidence, happiness & self esteem then it's got to be worth denial of all things comforting, hasnt it ?

My weakness is carbohydrates - bread, pasta & potatoes & I eat bucket loads of them because they're cheap. Does this mean that my credit cards have made me fat, & therefore if I pay off my cards & have more money to spend that I'll actually be thinner
