  • Doubt I will have lost anything either .. all my good intentions flew out the window the first morning I saw the breakfast buffet in the hotel .. then when I got to Legoland I couldn't find my good intentions either :o

Maybe if I drink water only till I weight in class on Wednesday things will be OK
  • I have been VERY bad this weekend too! Went to stay at my mum and dads and there was too much temptation! Somehow over the course of the weekend I had fried chicken, a burger and chips, roast beef and pizza....is it wrong that I'm a little bit proud!? Have until Wednesday to undo the damage so it's back on soup and off to circuits for me this evening!

Well done Dolly - maybe we can share your loss between us so that we can all pretend we've lost a bit?

  • Hi all, eco glad your back is better and well done dolly! I have not lost anything but luckily I haven't put any on! Anyway, I will post the updated weight loss list on Wednesday as it looks like a few people are waiting till then.

Have added a massive £1.95 to my September target of £300 today, am sick of being poor all the time! Get paid later this week so hopefully I will have some overtime to add.

    bloody brilliant idea :rotfl:

Why is it that now I have my fridge/freezer in the living room for the next 2 weeks, within easy waddling distance of the sofa, I no longer have any ice cream or wine in it  just boring old carrots & broccoli humph .

So apart from dolly :A that's a resounding no pounds lost all round then ? We are holy freaking cack at this :o

How about we get awards for money saving & temptation resisting instead ? I saw those little 2 glugs & it's all gone wine bottles on offer in tesco the other day...but didnt buy any :D

Oh well, as all my school reports used to say ... could try harder, lots harder.

  • I shall be weighing in tomorrow morning - I do not have high hopes though! Finally managed to get to circuits last night - I am now walking like an old lady. There are muscles hurting I didn't even know I still had!! But, I did actually enjoy it and slept so well afterwards. I have to admit though the brown rice, prawn and asparagus thing I made for dinner wasn't half as tasty as a pizza would have been!!

I've found another little gem from the book, if you're a wine fan, you have to top your glass up with mineral water or diet lemonade, it's supposed to stop you reaching for a second too quickly, that ones no good for my sis, she doesn't leave enough room in the glass for anything else, and sitting behind a desk uses up 100 calories in 150mins, I wondered why i'm always starving at work.
well done PF for the circuits, half the battle is getting there.
  • Thanks eco - it is definitely half the battle (mainly cos once you're there you can't stop running for fear of being spotted and having to go back to the beginning again!!)

I've started putting ice in my wine - means I can fit less in the glass and hopefully will help with the rehydration too :D
