I was reading Hester's blog and the pupils were making a calender for charity but the spelling went awry so they proudly made a "Clunder" on the front page with inner pages for "Aprli" "Febry" etc!

    Afternoon all.

I'm late getting online today - still feeling a bit dizzy, so taking it very steady.:(

(((Hugs))) for all who want one, and congratulations to SnowyOwl on getting the job - what a super b'day present!:T

Mr LW is home today, as he's on Early shift, so he helped me make lunch, and my wheeled trolley from Lakeland has arrived, so I'll be able to transport stuff around the bungalow a lot more easily now.:j

Not a lot else happening here, so I'll love you & leave you for now.

Hello everybody :hello: HUgs to those in need etc.

Well not posted for ages - although I have been on the Avon thread for a while. Just a quickie before I go to bed - I have been sent home ill from work (so they can't complain that I'm off ill agaain!:D ). Still having problems from the ol' gall bladder op - still seeing surgeon tomorrow - let's see how he likes having screaming woman in pain in his clinic :rotfl: Been selling on e-bay :j and made just over £100 :j Mr Rage is delighted that I am clearing "rubbish" (cheek of it ;) ). Nothing exciting done although we did go to the theatre the other day on a 2-4-1- to see the lovely Patricia Routledge playing Queen Mary - well I was frightened! Also used the Pizza express 2-4-1 voucher which I have spread around work like an e-mail virus! Haven't given a thought to what's for dinner tonight although I'm sure I can hear the lamb chops in the freezer shouting. Probably have pasta though as it will be easier on the old intestines.... Got a Unison negotiated payrise at work - we were meant to have it in our June pay packets but we will have the increment this month and then the back pay (from April) in next..... Hmmm isn't it funny how payrises are always reluctant to leave the employers interest paying accounts into us mere mortals' accounts???? Ah well the back pay will go the same way as the e-bay profit - into the ISA for the next BTL house deposit. :T Right off to the land of hot water bottle.
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

Hi everybody :hello: Been busy for the last few days and haven't posted. Also have lost track of people's news but from what I can remember:

Happy Birthday SnowyOwl :bdaycake: [STRIKE](29 my ar5e)[/STRIKE]
    Welcome LoopyLinz :hello:
princess pixiedust - like the new name, and the new avvy :D
catowen, I'll go and have a look on the travel board and see if I can help.

Hugs or congratulations as appropriate to anybody I've missed.

Not much OS to report - I've dropped out of the Grocery Challenge till the autumn as my summer budgeting is never quite that simple :o I always spend a lot more over the summer due to being out nearly all the time, but it's budgeted for. At the same time I am saving up for all sorts of things - mainly to blitz a big chunk off the mortgage, but also some fun things, like the fundraising ball I've been invited to by some friends in September...

Have mainly managed to avoid the summer sales, though I did spend £37 in Next yesterday (haven't tried any of the stuff on yet so I suspect some of it will be going back) and the pair of funky purple shoes I saw in Jones the other week have now gone down to £30 which is probably sufficient to convince myself that I can afford them... all I have to do now is find a branch that's got them in my size. That's an advantage of being in London - there are lots of branches of the same shop within reach.

Off to two concerts this evening at the Proms - an orchestral one at 7pm and a choral one at 10pm :D so I won't get home till half past midnight but it will keep me out of mischief anyway :D

    Love Rzl xx
