    Evening all
I got to work today to find someone had bu**ered up one of my machines, it took me 3 hours to sort it out. I emailed my boss with a list of what I had to do by tomorrow lunchtime, she sent 3 people to help me, I'm not very popular as it was 104deg in my office, lol.
BIL is still having probs with his van so that will make things difficult.
    Have a good evening.
    Hugs Hester

Evening all! I seem to have been hardly home today.

Very OS in that I got up to the market and Iceland (on foot, so no petrol) for fruit, veg and a few other bits and bobs like eggs and baked beans. Then up to school to help with Minor #1's leavers' lunch, watch the talent show, bring home Minors #1 & #2, feed them a snack, take them back up to school for the end of year disco, tidy up, get home, stuff tea down them, get them into bed. Minor #2's room is almost finished now, so all his toys are out of the bathroom - hooray!

Also managed to get a dark wash out on the line (don't remember doing it, must have done it at some point), so a little bit of ironing and folding and I'm done for the day - apart from packing up yesterday's mint/lemon/rose creams for the teachers, making sure the cards are ready for signing in the morning and rediscovering the kitchen as DH Created A Meal at lunchtime. He's a good cook, but he has a blind spot for sticky pans and surfaces....

    No rest for the wicked!

Hugs to all who need them.

Welcome to Boddy - glad you've joined us!

Busy Girl - have a great holiday.

Aussie - hope the blood test results were good.

Tried homemade chips in the Remoska which were a disaster! Still, I know now! Will stick to oven chips from now on. DH manfully ate them but did not say 'wow, that was great'!

I'm just about to have a bath and a sit down to watch a bit of TV or doze off or both.

Did anyone find it really humid this afternoon? It's never just right here, is it?

    See you all later.

Evening all. Managed to get through the work day, but it's definitely been one of those days today. Somehow I managed to trip over on the way home, and was jammed like a sardine on the bus too. Great. Anyway, home now, and have made a nice sweet and sour for tea, and am now relaxing. Work was ok when I got there, thankfully. I don't know why I get like this, but every time I go on holiday I get SUCH bad nerves when I go back to work. GAH! Anyway, thankful hugs from me! (((hugs)))

I was reading Hester's blog and the pupils were making a calender for charity but the spelling went awry so they proudly made a "Clunder" on the front page with inner pages for "Aprli" "Febry" etc
    !

I just love the idea of a clunder with all the months like that

    Today I have -

Done a bit of paid work.
Earned just over £6 on clicks and surveys.
    Went for a bike ride.
    Done 2 loads of handwashing.
    Cleaned out 3 hutches.
Dug up carrots, swedes and potatoes, picked berries, tomatoes and broad beans.
Ate 2 carrots and 11 cherry tomatoes for tea :D I consider myself a proper gardener now, cos I ate the carrots without washing them :D

Just had a shower and am looking forward to Jimmy's prog on farmers (BBC 2 - is anyone else watching? Last week's was good).

    Happy Birthday Snowy :bdaycake:

I'll try and get a good pic of the piggies tomorrow. We've got a mutant carrot, I'll take a pic of that too :D

Not read all through yet so will catch up in a bit

    love the carrot Troo
Happy birthday to the lovely Snowyowl

My lastest baby left primary school today and caught the bus up to her dsis's on her own. She was 40 minutes late as that's how long it took to hug and cry - there is only one other girl going up to her new school in September. i thought she was coming home tonight but has decided to stay overnight so I will have to drop some clothes off tomorrow morning as she's staying the rest of the week. I am irrationally weepy and feeling broody for more grandbabies - sigh

    hugs to all

I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
