This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Morning All
Just thought I'd save N9eav a job for today.
Chaos reigns. Just printing final maps to hotel for tonight and port tomorrow and guess what printer playing up!
Oh Joys of technology.
(((hugs))) and  to all
Congrats (especially to Vicky) and birthday wishes which occur till I am back on line.
Catch you soon.

Happy Birthday SnowyOwl:bdaycake:
Have 2 extra children today so house will probably end up looking more like a bombsite than it already is. I'm hoping they will keep themselves amused to a certain extent though so I can get some jobs done.
Might go to the park for a picnic lunch if it's nice - otherwise it'll be a picnic on the LR floor!
Hope everyone has a good day
Hugs

Good morning to the early birds.
Donny - I hope your printer works so you can plan your trip home!
(((Hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin, Mrs Mix, Beth and her DBs, Candygirl and her Dad, AnnieStar and all who need one today.
Pink - hope your kittie is feeling better.
Well, I had a bad night's sleep; no matter how tired I am, as soon as I try and go to sleep, my mind starts doing overtime. DS2's wedding is less than three weeks away and some people still have not RSVP'd the invitations they had more than four months ago! I honestly don't think some people know what RSVP stands for! We need to submit the final numbers for the reception on Friday. DH says that anyone who has not replied by now is obviously not coming but the last thing we want is people turning up anyway and there not being enough places set! Anyway, by Friday, it will be too late.
I still have loads of wedding favours to make so I shall have to devote the weekend to that, I think. We are going to church on Sunday for the final reading of the banns - DS2 and his bride-to-be have asked us to go with them soI am looking forward to that. There is so much planning and a lot going on that I keep forgetting that it's my baby getting married - I still can't quite believe that he's old enough but, at 26 years of age, he definitely is!
Churchmouse - :hello: :hello: :hello: Was it you who posted the link to the Cat Owner's thread? There are some lovely pictures on there.
Smoky - I hope you are feeling better today.
Pooky - congratulations to your husband on his new job! Good luck to him.
Today's plan is to give the house a good going over and I also need to pop out to the village to get a top-up for my phone and a couple of bits and pieces, and pick up the rest of the ribbon for the wedding favours.
We are having fish, chips and salad for dinner (not from the chippie because we did that on Friday!). The shepherd's pie cooked in the Remoska last night was a great success as was the rice pudding, also cooked in it! I can't vouch for that because I can't stand rice pudding but DH loved it.
Anyway, enough mioliering; I'd better go and have my shower before I wake DH up for work.
Hope everyone has a great day.
See you later.

Morning everyone,
Happy Birthday Snowy Owl!! Have a great day!
For me, it's back to work today after a holiday, and I'm nervous (as I always am). For some reason I was ill in the night and did (at 2am) contemplate not going in. I'm ok now, if a little dodgy, so we'll see how it goes. I've got my friend OSing now - lurking for the time being, I think, but we'll see - so that's pretty cool. Anyway, work is calling, so I'll be back later.
Have a great day, everyone

Morning.
Happy Birthday to Snowy Owl as well..... Although you won't see any soppy animals waving to you on my post!
Off to court today to give some evidence in a murder trial.... That should take care of this morning. Then It's back to work this afternoon.
Stressful day yesterday, can 't go in to detail, but you would not like my job.
Collected a free patio table and chairs from freinds yesterday which was nice. Then gave away a bed and stereo to Freecyclers.
Tipple of the day Fancy a nice drink after a hard day's work. ASDA have bottles of RUBIS on offer at £2.82 half price. It's a sweet chocolatey sherry type drink. Delicious and worth a nice treat at the end of the day....find it in the sherry and port sectionNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

Good Morning All
Many Happy Returns Snowy  , have a great day.
Claero - I hate that feeling but you will be alright once you are there.
Lovely and sunny here today, albeit a little chilly at the moment. Just writing my office to do list then jump in the shower. Will be able to start early as OH is getting up to do the school run, he needs to take DD & her bike back from where she got is from as the handlebars kep going loose.
So today I will clear everything off my to do list. I will do some ironing. DD will probably play out when she comes back home so I should have some peace and quiet. I do have a Tesco shop coming at 12-2 - used a £12 off code from on here so am very pleased with that.
Chicken legs with cheesy pots for dinner tonight.
Have a good day all.

Morning all,
Had a big day in town yesterday and was extremely fatigued when I got home.Went and got some blood tests this morning, came home & did the housework etc. Caught up with the washing & sorted tea out. DGS down here now and staying the night. I'm taking him too play group tomorrow morning.
Some bloke is coming here tomorrow. We are thinking of installing solar power seeing as the govt has got huge rebates on atm. What you don't use, the electricity company buys back from you. Not sure on how it all works  but hopefully I will be tomorrow.
Snowy Happy Birthday. Hope you have a lovely day.
