    Morning all

Lovely day here again but I think we could be heading for a hosepipe ban soon.

    Happy birthday Snowy

    Jan :A xxxx

Don't worry Jan, I wasn't planning on lighting the candles on my cake so the reservoirs are safe for another week or two.

My plans for today - more job hunting. It's driving me nuts, I need a job asap!! I've got no interviews lined up at the minute, though I've got a lot of applications in. I do wish they'd get a move on.

Pixiedust Princess...how many strings did you have to pull to get a new user name without starting again from scratch??

    Have a lovely day everyone.

    Happy Birthday Snowy Owl!

Thabks for all the tips re my hand baked bread yesterday. I did another loaf, wholemeal this time and left it to rise abit longer and Voila!! Perfect. I think i've got the hang of it now so no more preservative laden supermarket carp bread for us anymore. handbaked all the way!!

Hope everyone has a good day whatever you get up to.........RD.

mioliere Yes I think you are right about the RSVP some people have`nt a clue, and some always leave things until the very last minute, it is so annoying. I remember we had the same problem at DS2`s wedding a few years ago, right up to 2wks before, it all worked out ok in the end though, but it does`nt help with all the stress, and just wanting everything to be perfect for them, it will be OK you see :D

claero I know exactly how you feel, I used to be the same at times, I don`t know why, but when I got to work I was always OK.

KAAT_LADY aahhh what a lovely cat, I love cats, but can`t have one as I am allergic:sad:

Well it is supposed to be 24 degs here today, looks a bit dull at the mo though.
Not really much going on here just the usual, washing, ironing, vac, dusting,go see my mum and do what she needs doing, no shopping for her this week because my sister came up the week-end and took her, as we were away for a few days. Then back home, if it does turn out to be a nice day I think I`ll get some more done in the garden.
Braised beef with pots and loads of veg for dinner tonight, then fresh fruit salad for pud.
Off for a cuppa and to wake OH up,so he can go over to his mum`s and do her housework and shopping.

    Morning everyone

    Happy Birthday Snowy Owl
Didn't post yesterday as I was a right misery:eek:. New boss has told me he only wants me 4 hrs a day, in all fairness job was advertised as 16 to 30 hrs, was hoping it was going to be 30, can't try and find another p/t to fit in as it isn't the same 4 hrs every day, today am not going in till 12. Oh well, its something for the bank account and I will still have plenty of time to find something else.

Lots of HW to do this morning, don't know how the house can get so messy when we were away all weekend, also left some washing out last night and it has rained, so better get that in and put it in the TD. Not sure whats for dinner tonight as its only me, probably one of my curry portions from the freezer, or might stick some chilli in the SC and have that, have to check there is room in the freezer for the rest of it.

    Have a good day xxx

I was wondering that too!;) will take some getting used to!

Booked 2 days off work as its my birthday tomorrow and I should have been working today and then doing a sleep-in followed by a 10 hour shift:eek: so decided to take it off. Am going shopping later with DH to choose a pressie for myself, he's no good with suprises and has terrible taste in ladies clothes so its in my interests to choose my own!:D

Had a busy day in the garden yesterday and renovated the wooded garden bench we were given - it looks fab now and really expensive!:T just got 2 more benches to go - we've got a huge garden. DH is finally getting round to finishing the weeding in the veggie patch - has been neglected for a few weeks.

Hope you all have a great day!
