Morning all, didn't post y/day as I got out into the garden at 7am and spent 6 hrs weeding and tidying up. DH removed a radiator in our bedroom (can't stand heat in the room) as we bought an appothicary that will only fit on that wall. Hoovered, polished and cleaned the windows and mirrors.
Made chicken cass for dinner soaked split peas so can make soup today.
Made 2 more cushions for twin bedroom, the room is finished now.

Today I have loads of paperwork to sort out, DH is self employed and I do the books. (Know what you have to go through Hester). We have to keep all paperwork for 7 years. I normally box up accounts by the year and store in the attic, have left it late as DH put extra lagging up there.

DD1 has an interview at 10.30 for a teaching post, keeping fingers crossed.

Happybirthday, SNOWYOWL and anyone else celebrating.

Hugs SMOKIE , CANDYGIRL, MRS.MIX, ANNIESTAR, PENPIN and JACKI O, where are you, hope you are ok. x

    Moring peeps
The weather is a bit dull here this morning but i put the washing out anyway, hope fully it will pick up later.
I`ve been down the garden and watered the tomatoes in the gh - lots of flowers on the plants but no fruit yet.
The bm and dw have been emptied and the houndies and kitty have been fed so i`ll be off out for a walk shortly.
W*rk this afternoon and then 2 days off :j the shifts fall rubbish though so it will only seem like one day so i need to pack lots of jobs into a small amount of time.

Rhysdad - congratulations on getting the bread right, i`ve been trying to sort out my freezer and empty it for the last month:eek: i hadn`t realised just how much was in there but it means that i`m doing well on the grocery challenge:rotfl: once it`s defrosted i can start making some winter type meals to freeze as this time of year i like to have half a freezer full of summer & half a freezer of winter type food.

"This time of year!!!" thinking about that comment it is only July and still summer but the weather has been so rubbish that it seems more like autumn to me

Snowyowl - Happy Birthday, hope you have a lovely day :bdaycake:

Squiddly diddly - Congratulations on your beautiful additions to the family, sounds like you will have your hands full with the houdini one:D

I`ll leave you all in peace now and sort the dog walking out.
Catch up later guys, have a great day!

    Morning
:bdaycake: Snowy, 29, wow, you are still a baby :D

Didn't have time to post yesterday as I was babysitting DGD. She is 1 in three weeks - where did that year go  She is just starting to walk around the furniture, and has started climbing the stairs, you need eyes in the back of your head

Weigh in this morning - don't ask :p really will have to get my head around it again. Not helped by the fact I made my own bread and jam last week, so that might account for a pound or two ;)

Made a crumble in the Remoska, and trying a sausage, potato and onion bake in it later. It hasn't replaced my slow cooker and steamer in my affections, but who knows in time ....

Nipping to Asda later, so might look for that tipple N9eav mentioned.

Have a great day everyone x

:bdaycake: Happy Birthday, SnowyOwl I just knew you were 29!!;) :rotfl: As nobody else has said, I'll have to raise several glasses to you this evening:D    :D Hope you have a good day!

Another beautiful day today. Can hardly believe we've had so many nice days in a row:rolleyes: More gardening to day, and dejunking. I've really got a dejunking head on at the moment, so I'm striking while the iron's hot.:D

princess pixiedust consider your bum well and truly smacked! twink is NOT getting old, she's maturing nicely:D If you're not a good girl we will call you fixielust:p

The UPS guy has just knocked at the door. Thank heavens! On Friday, DH managed to wreck the keyboard on his laptop:rolleyes: Coffee will do that. Anyway he's been sharing mine:rolleyes:  Oh joy! Anyway HP and UPS have turned up trumps, and the replacement is here:T Just hope that fixes it. ( need a praying smiley here)

Mioliere, it wasn't me posted the picture link. I really think some people are so rude not replying to invites. Could you phone them (I know you don't really need the work or aggro:rolleyes: )? The thing that makes me crossest is that, in my experience, the worst ones at replying are the first to complain when they need to know numbers:mad: Hope you manage to get some sleep.

Well, I'd best get on, hope everyone has good days, CM x

Charlie's_mum, my DS is the 1 in 3 weeks too, maybe they have the same birthday! Is your DGD walking yet?

Squiggly, hope the cats settle in ok, best of luck with them (my sister's kitten still not turned up, she's gutted).

    Morning all

Bruin seems to be a bit better today, had to take him back to vets last night another (£15) but we complained about the state he was in a got an apology off head vet. We have to take him back again before friday if he does wee enough, he's still straining a bit. The vet said to feed him some fish in tomato sauce as the acid in the sauce is good for the urine, so OH will be losing his mackerel and pilchards....

Thanks for all the well wishes for him.

Going to try post a pic of him.

    morning all,

Its beautiful here, got the bedding on the line, and another load just gone in the wm, should all get dry today.

Will have a quick tidy through this morning, and I need to make a minced beef and onion pie for tea, the weather is really putting me off the meal planning, normally by now we would be having salad every day, but you just cant rely on it at the moment, , so I will do the pie with cubed roasted in garlic pots, and some veg.

We are off into town today to collect dd's friend, who is staying for the week, they will be home alone wed, thurs and fri while I am at work, hope they don't trash the place

Managed to get the blow up matress yesterday in Mr T, it had been reduced to half price :T , also got dd some new bits from new look sale so she is happy.

I need to go into m + s today to get some new knickers, you do get to a stage in life when only m + s will do :D

Hugs to smoky hope you are feeling better soon xx

Happy Birthday to Snowy, 29 eh ;):D

Fizzel, I got some brilliant zip lock bags in lakeland, a bit more expensive, but worth it, as you can wash them and use them again and again.

ragz I really don't know too much about little boys, but I think this is something they all do. A lot of grown men still do it which is horrible :o

    Have good days all xx
