    Afternoon all,

Kaatlady, what were the drops you used to put in the water for your cat's cystitis? These 2 are currently on Hills Prescription food as Nino had cystitis around 3 years ago (but nothing since apparently). So once they have settled I am going to ask a/my vet about changing them onto something different (and I would have thought they'd enjoy wet food a bit more too) but if there's a natural preventative addition I can give them that would be helpful I'd have thought.

    ...

    hi there SD :j

will look out the drops after dinner as DH knows where they are and he is out ''getting'' onions at the moment

    see ya soon

    Evening everyone!

Been home from work about 2 hours and haven't done anything yet! Thankfully OH had hoovered through and done all the dishes before I got in :T but my plan was to clean the bathroom, sort our bedroom and cook shepherds pie. Might save the cleaning for tomorrow night and just eat and watch TV ;)

Smoky ... really hope you are feeling better today

Squiggly ... so glad Lola and Nino have come to live with you!

Have a good evening everyone

    Hi again

M - we leave around 8 in the morning, so depending on how organised I am not I may not be back.

Congrats Mr Pooky - Fingers crossed for Snowyowl that something turns up for you soon (and for my DS too).

Smoky - hope you have managed to shake of the worst and that your LO's don't get it, but if not REST!

Thanks for the Pasta advice, I will pass it on to DS.

Jayward sorry luv it's been a bit hectic last couple of days, and the connection has not been helping us. Will catch up again once new BB connection sorted at home.

Bread - order - well if memory serves me right, it is put the bread and salt together in a bowl, make a well in the centre, mix sugar with yeast and other wet ingredients, must be at least room temperature, nothing cold else yeast does not work. Pour into well, flick some flour over the top of the liquid cover and wait for yeast to start working before mixing in and kneading. Put to rise again.

Feel free to correct me folks, cookery not my specialist subject, and the above was from my school days, and I will enter my Heinz year next month.

Welcome newbies, can't keep up at the moment, but you are welcome. To whoever it was who's OH was not using polite language, sorry that word not allowed in this house, only heard DS23 use it once, and that was when he saw a cockroach out here! Never heard it either from a factory of 500 gentlemen, knew they used it, but never in my hearing, and especially not in young childrens hearing.

To those with the cat stories (hugs) if yours isn't right, can't quite understand and not a cat person, but cannot hurt them.

Right if I don't get back hopefully catch up Friday.
    Be good (ish). DG

SQUIGGLY hope your lovely cats settle in soon.

    Hello new peeps:hello: .

DS leaving assembly was lovely and the children put on such a fantastic show for us. Tea was sausages, mash, cabbage and beans. Have made a chocolate traybake thingy for Ds to take to school tomorrow for his teachers. Off to have some decaff tea and knit.

    Have a good night all.
