Dusty - we took DS and he kept telling people not to come close to me, it was very funny and took the tension out of the visit a little bit.
I've just sat down after starting flying at 10am this morning. That has to be a record....12 hours flying!!! DDs bookshelf is built and i've sorted out all her books. We all have a terrible book habit in our family!! DH is going to get four shelves tomorrow to put up for her ornaments and favourite books. It's looking good apart from the fact you have to tackle an obstacle course if you want to get from my bed to the bathroom! Will need to sort that tomorrow.
My list for tomorrow though I won't start till late. DS has an appointment with the consultant tomorrow to find out if he needs an operation this year. Fingers crossed. That's probably why i've done so much today so I didn't think about tomorrow.

Boddy - just wanted to send hugs to you and your DD
poohbear - hope you feel better soon
mudbath - wow, you've been busy!
pigpen - well done to DD on her results!
Can I have a little proud mummy moment too? DS2 has his SAT's results too, 6 for English, and 7 for Maths and Science! He is absolutely thrilled to bits, and I'm equally thrilled for him! I'm not usually that interested in SAT's, but he was taking it very much more seriously than I was.
Busy day today. I cleaned the kitchen to level 3 first thing - yes, I know it was down for yesterday, but I was too tired then. I then went to visit the school I'm working in in September. It doesn't seem any better organised, but I did eventually get a list of which books each group are using, and where they are to start. I've also been asked to do the first two inset days and was assured they'd pay me for them as well - bonus! I now have six weeks to learn the first two years of Spanish...
After a quick lunch with DS1 in the garden, I went downtown, managed to buy a couple of linen tops and a pair of linen trousers in the M&S sale, picked up some clearance bargains in Boots, and exchanged the money for euros. After school, I took DS1 to TK Maxx, and he finally found a pair of jeans that fit rather than hanging half of his bottom - which is not a look I like.
Last day tomorrow, and I have to do all the washing ready for the holiday packing on Thursday, and also want to sort out all the maps, documents etc, water on the allotment, and at home, as well as clean the main bedroom, and the rest of the downstairs. That will just leave the food shopping, bathroom to clean, and packing for Thursday...
Night, flyladies! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0
