Hope you all dont mind me sharing this. Just had some bad news. Read in the local paper this evening about the body of a young man being washed up on a nearby beach.

My DD has just rang to say its a friend of hers. He had left her house to go fishing last night. GS1 was supposed to go with him but didnt. Im so shocked I just saw him recently at hers. Have told her to ring the police as they want to know his last movements. He was only 28.

Oh (((boddy))) - how awful for you, DD and the family xx

Soappie-i'm glad you made the right decision and went and enjoyed the sun.

I've just been to IK*A. The first time since my wrist got bust. I was actually really nervous and some poor dear came near me with a trolley and I jumped a mile and squeaked loudly!! Anyway, I survived and DD now has a billy bookcase for when she comes home.

Off to make the bookcase now xx

It will take some time to find out what exactly happened. Other factors which I cant go into here may have caused him to fall or slip. Im just sad for him as he didnt have a good life. Daughter is thinking could she have done more for him. She did give him a home at one point but eventually had to ask him to leave. GS2 wished he had gone and maybe prevented what happened.

Hi everyone, been busy over this last few weeks and haven't had a chance to catch up. So far half of house is going on ebay, kids blocked the toilet with half a roll of toilet roll still on tube, i've toothache again:mad: most see dentist tomorrow brandy is not working. DD's finger nail is nearly off (gross), DS2 is have an allergic reaction to something and so am i but we don't know what. DS2's birthday this saturday so pressie to get and cake to make at some point. Oh and we're getting a rabbit and guinea pig on saturday too, all go here.

Kitchen tidy, livingroom tidy and bathroom tidy (after toilet blocking). Have more stuff to throw onto ebay tonight and bed early, DD at speech tomorrow morning and hubby getting career advice (he's doing really well):j .

Right kids bath and bed for them.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I'm back - at long last having survived the visit to the hospital. DS test results were a lot better than last time. He just needs to drink a bit more. He's in bed now complaining his bladder hurts - can only think it is because he was ultra sounded twice today and she did seem to be pressing down on it quite hard. Heres hoping its better in the morning.
Kids last day at school tomorrow so I'm going to make the most of it and pop into town in the morning.
I managed to clean downstairs this evening and will do upstairs tomorrow afternoon.
Just off to catch up with the posts - theres loads today.
