Is there anyone who can help comment on this? I'm having difficulty understanding it.
Thank you.
It's listing a current outstanding balance, so needs to be corrected.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi there - I'm just about to start my credit clean up. After reading some of the posts on this thread, I have a question: Should I have received a certificate of discharge? I didn't. Will this be a problem?ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN B

Did you get AD or ED?
If AD, then you don't normally get anything sent to you.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

In that case, print off the online entry showing your AD and send that.
Or ask your OR if they will write you a letter confirming the AD.
The vast majority of creditors will accept those.
If some don't, then you may have to think about getting the official certificate. Costs 60 pounds through if you aren't exempt the fees.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Then again, if you do happen to be exempt the £60 fee, then you may as well get the full certificate from the court.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi,
I've started to take a look at cleaning up my credit files. It's 4 mths since ED. I've had a look at both equifax & Experian and my question is this:
If a record is incorrect on both CRA's can I do one letter to the Co in question i.e Natwest stating that both are incorrect, or do I have to send two seperate letter - one for each CRA.BSC 289A life lived in fear is a life not living!Proud to have dealt with my debts.0 -

Just one letter to Natwest, requiring them to update correctly the records with any CRA that they might have reported to.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
