Booking flights from the Uk via US/Aussie Expedia Sites

  • some people having booked through the initial expedia link have had problems and ended up with no flights.

    Thats right there was a couple of people who never received there eticket numbers and there flights were cancelled..I know if you have eticket numbers then flights are fine ..Trouble i have had is trying to get the numbers !!:confused: I cant find the threads now but remember reading about 1 person who never got there flights and another one where both himself and his g/f were going to a wedding a few days apart and she never got her tickets ..Im sure there one offs but just gets worrying when they have your money and not getting any further forward with eticket numbers ...

  • Not travelling till oct, but just got off the phone to expedia as i still have no e-ticket number even though i have a booking confirmation (someone explain that to me as NWA couldn't understand it either)

    Expedia stating NWA Rejected the ticket as the price was incorrect. The new price is essentially Doubled!!!

    Did explain to expedia my conversation with NWA, of not understanding why the booking was not ticketed. Expedia said they will speak to NWA and see what they can do.Don't hold much hope, not looking good.

    Dear Ven,

    At least they had the decency to email you! They just cancelled mine with no warning at all. After phoning to find out what was going on I was offered the $100 voucher as a sign of goodwill but it's only valid against hotel or flight/hotel packages so I told them where to put the voucher. They'll never be seeing my money again!

    Interestingly, you booked almost exactly the same time as me. Wonder if that has any relevance.

    Did anyone book this through Harvey World Travel?

    I did and have yet to receive e-tickets.

    Phoned them a few times, they claim they are working on it and there is about 100 bookings for them to deal with.

    Seems to be taking an excessive amount of time, no reply to emails except if you email the wrong department they tell you to email the correct one, who never replies.

    HI there have never heard them mentioned on here before but i know what you mean ..If there anything like bestflights there shocking ..there customer service does not exist!! when i first phoned bestflights they told me they 70 bookings to ticket which went upto 300 over the weekend as they said they found bookings they never knew they had ..Other etickets are coming through from bestflights now so hopefully you will receive yours shortly also ...Fingers crossed for you :confused:

    No, i've not heard of them before. I booked through jetabroad.com.

    never asked and was not offered seen some on there site for £250 more in total but trouble i have is bestflights have my money ..it was on hold for few days then they took it a week ago...I dont have a credit card ..I paid with my debit card so no money now which would not bother me if i had my flights and the cheaper flights for £250 more on NWA site were sold in a day !!:mad:
