Booking flights from the Uk via US/Aussie Expedia Sites

I did use Expedia.com.au

The number required for the Check mytrip is the Amadeus number which confusingly is another 6 digit number that appears on top of the Airfrance reservation.

It only serves as a double check as all the details are actually on the Airfance reservation

It has nothing to do with Expdia "blocking" the site

You booked with expedia ?? Bestflights customer service is really poor !!!

hey worried_now ive not received anything over the weekend. my details still come up on the nwa website but no eticket numbers. im tempted to phone bestflights but could do without the charges for phoning internationally, last thing i need is a hefty phone bill !! im hoping they will get on top of their backlog in the next few days and send me my etickets without me pursuing them.

Speaking as someone who has had their flight reservation cancelled I would say phone them now while NWA still have you booked on the flight. I'm sure that I would still have my flight if I'd have noticed my eticket numbers were missing and I'd chased it up sooner. Good luck!

I have free calls to america and aus through skytalk so im going to phone them back just now ..I am really :mad: Now ..They have told so many lies and gave me the run around all week ..To be honest i dont think most of them know what there talking about and that includes there supervisor !! And to top it there sat with all our moneys which was told several times under no circumstances would money be taken till tickets issued !!..Its shocking

OK "HAPPY DAYS", very confident all is well, airline site shows confirmed, expedia verbally confirmed all ok and expedia e-mail confirmed. Expedia have updated my itinerary and it nows show a Expedia.com.au booking ID. Note, no payment taken, pending has dropped off automatically after 7 days. Been informed the airline billing cycle. Will watch that space.

Now when I Goto www.checkmytrip.com and enter the Expedia.com.au booking ID ONLY, it shows my trip. Like Blindman says; this is not
not the airline confirmation codes or your Expedia itinerary code.
The code to enter is 6 long and not to get confused between airlines confirmation codes as they are different things.

This Expedia ID, only showed when they updated my itinerary. Basically I phoned and e-mailed to get confirmation. When they checked my record, this is when they must have added the ID part.
When I say updated, they have made no changes to flights etc, just added this Expedia ID.

NYC Hotels, December week, very pricey. Proving x 2 times as much as the flights. To finish this cheap flights deal, we need to get a cheap hotel deal.
