Hi, firstly well done on your (relative) success with CS, I hope they actually speak to the SA involved so they know not to talk to people like that again. It's getting quite worrying now as we're seeing more and more posts with people having problems with SAs, and I've done the questionnaire to be a boots employee - half the questions are about customer relations! If these people answered the questionnaire truthfully there's no way they'd get hired! Anyway, rant over, which clinique products have you been using?
It probably isn't just the products that have caused your blemishes, but if your skin's been producing more oil recently (which it can with the hormone changes around that time of the month) and you're using things which block the pores, that's why you're getting blemishes. Also, I wouldn't always trust what it says on the box about the skin type, as some products are really similar (despite being for diff. skin types) or just not formulated well for that skin type. One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you!

Sorry Palice, thank you - you just answered my q
I'm using the liquid soap, the mild clarifying lotion (thought it was number one, but realised mine has not got number on, just assumed it was the first one til I looked on .com) and the continuous rescue antioxidant moisturiser for dry skin, was using dramatically different but didn't like it, so switched to this one, which my friend recommended, also use visible skin renewer, and 7 day scrub.
Gotta go bed, I'm wiped out

(((hugs)))moneysaver12, I've only just seen your post RE: the nasty SA (I'm reading the posts backwards as usual:rolleyes: )
what an awful experience that must've been and getting other staff and customers to side with her too. I am so mad about this:mad: this happened to me once. I told the SA I was going to call CS and I did. CS were really good and spoke to the SA's manager. That SA needs to get a life!

I work in Darlington but live in North Tyneside (just round the corner from the silverlink if anyone knows it - it has a boots, so I'd be surprised if you didn't!;) ) Anyway, I am leaving work early on friday, as I have some flexi built up and am itching to go bootsing, but I need to know which are the best local boots stores for bargains. Also if you know which stores have a clinique counter I'd be very grateful, all I know is Eldon Square and Metrocentre have one, Silverlink doesn't.
In theory I could visit any of the stores along my usual route (A1 then possibly A19 through tyne tunnel or continue up A1 as far as Gosforth) on the way home, or can take a few other routes home (A167 to chester le street then A1, etc) although I'd rather not do Durham city centre unless it's really worth it as it'll mean doing the park & ride. I came up with the following list using the store locator, so which do you feel are worth a visit, and are there any you'd automatically miss cos they're not worth the effort?Darlington (2 stores), Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Durham, Peterlee, Arnison centre, Chester le Street, Stanley, The Galleries, Washington, Team Valley, Metrocentre, Gateshead, Newcastle City Centre, Silverlink, plus any I've missedThanks in advance, and thanks to everyone who posts glitches on here!:T
hiya,
im from near middlesbrough,
the middlesbrough store usually has 2 or 3 small stands of clearance stuff, usually dozens of the same item!
dont forget teeside park, when the sales are on thats where i pick up a few bargains,

Very poor Bootsing day today and not been for ages so was really hoping it would be.
Wanted Skin Doctors Stuff as seen by Sally06 - store doesn't sell it
Andrew Collinge stuff - store doesn't sell it (nor does it sell MM haircare)
Simple reductions all gone
Roc reductions all gone
Only thing I managed to get was some John Frieda Hair Colour Glaze for Blonde hair reduced from 6.99 to 1.75.
They had loads of the Ted Baker Bags too (not reduced on SEL) but have already treated myself to 2 of the sizes.0 -
What are the surveys that have been mentioned?
HiRandomly, when you purchase goods, the tills print out a till spit. The till spit advises you that if you wish to win £1,000 or an Ipod to complete the survey on line. You need the till spit to complete the survey, as it has a unique number on it that you have to input.
The questions are general customer service questions.... was the store clean, how was the SA who served you.. etc. But you can give name of SA that you feel were helpful, nice, etc. And also ones that were not.
I have had about 3 of these, but not yet won the money or IPOD.

Hi ,Im not sure how many exactly, but she had about 10-12 on the counter and a basket on the floor by her feet, with about the same again , and 4 red huggies boxes HTHI appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A0 -
I have a £5 gift voucher, £5 I found on the floor today at Sainsbury's and £35 birthday money left.
I REALLY REALLY like the no 7 GWP, but obviously want to maximise my spend and points and not necessarily spend my own £20 to get it. I need to buy a new pair of shoes too.
Can you wonderful Bootsers help me with a shopping list and ACM vouchers that will increase my spend at little cost with max points please?0 -
mrscb, re:"Keep card" on till. I had this come up last week and I am very selective with what vouchers I use so didn't think there was any reason to need my card. then I wondered if it just had something to do with paying by debit card and it didn't literally mean to keep the card, but just that it needed to be taken out of the chip and pin machine but not given back to me yet, if that makes sense?
anyway SA didn't keep card and I've had no problems since so I'm inclined to think that's what it meant...
