Although even if they do, some SAs would probably force you to use the card, anyway. I know you don't need an ad card for till spits and manufacturers coupons because I didn't use my ad card for about the first year I had it.

another question i have is that if they validate your reciept do they just add the points or do they scan it so the items appear on your ac card ie to check what u r using/buying. if not u can use coupons with no card and not get tracked, this would be handy seeing though i had my card (s) cancelled last week from the p/c club - discuss

Darlington (2 stores), Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Durham, Peterlee, Arnison centre, Chester le Street, Stanley, The Galleries, Washington, Team Valley, Metrocentre, Gateshead, Newcastle City Centre, Silverlink, plus any I've missed

Hi there...Durham marketplace has a clinique counter but is a bit hit and miss with clearance...nothing in there at all yesterday....avoid Stanley, its a tiny little shop with hardly much choice and no ACM..

Ah, that is good to know! I would imagine if you actually have them put the points on your card later, it has the transaction info. I would just ask to have it validated, use the coupons, then not bother with the points if it were just the standard amount of points. Thanks for the info.

yeah i have done that too, just said oh i forgot me card i think it will go through, but i would like to know if they just add the points or scan the reciept on a validated reciept - be helpful and worthwhile to know i will ask my fave boots c/s when i go in they will tell me.

I worked for boots up until about 2 years ago and then we def added the points without scanning receipt think its still the same
