I need some advice from any bootsers local to the north east ( I know there are a few of you on here!):j
I work in Darlington but live in North Tyneside (just round the corner from the silverlink if anyone knows it - it has a boots, so I'd be surprised if you didn't!;) ) Anyway, I am leaving work early on friday, as I have some flexi built up and am itching to go bootsing, but I need to know which are the best local boots stores for bargains. Also if you know which stores have a clinique counter I'd be very grateful, all I know is Eldon Square and Metrocentre have one, Silverlink doesn't.

In theory I could visit any of the stores along my usual route (A1 then possibly A19 through tyne tunnel or continue up A1 as far as Gosforth) on the way home, or can take a few other routes home (A167 to chester le street then A1, etc) although I'd rather not do Durham city centre unless it's really worth it as it'll mean doing the park & ride. I came up with the following list using the store locator, so which do you feel are worth a visit, and are there any you'd automatically miss cos they're not worth the effort?

Darlington (2 stores), Newton Aycliffe, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Durham, Peterlee, Arnison centre, Chester le Street, Stanley, The Galleries, Washington, Team Valley, Metrocentre, Gateshead, Newcastle City Centre, Silverlink, plus any I've missed

Well, I had to go back for more of thisas it is such a bargain at 1.50 and B1G1HP (23.95 on dot.com)

Also bought 2 more botanics concealers at 50p each + FREE wipes with each one.

paid 55p for this. It was the last one on the shelf:D

Sorry should have added that, It's a Twin Lens'ed V570, the also had some other HP's (with camera / printer dock) and a samsung today, but in the past week they had some Fuji's that are about £100 at the moment for £50. They were behind the counter with handwritten labels, so hence what stock is where is anyones guess. Stock seems to change this Kodak wasn't there monday. May be worth asking in store what there is.

My main reason for buying is to put on a model plane for remote aeriel shots so I was more influenced by the price as if it comes loose and smashed to smithereens I don't care! , anything over £50 is too much of a risk, I have a Canon Ixus that I could use but I bough the waterproof housing for that and it cost more than the camera so I'm careful with that camera...

Sorry becky, do you mean if you buy something else too? Say gloss @ £3.79 plus say...eyeliner @ £2.29? Even that come to £4.something though
