If the doc thought your equipment is a bit elderly at 27 then goodness knows what he /she would make of mine! It took 5 months to conceive DS1 when I was 36. It took me a while to decide I was really ready for another baby, but during that time we didn't use any contraception. Then I finally made my mind up and was pregnant a week later! I'm now 10 weeks pregnant, I'll be 40 in two weeks, my OH is the same age. We are fairly gobsmacked to have caught straight away, when we thought we'd spend the rest of the year trying.
Hi My mum had various fertility probs and tbh it never crossed my mind that I might face the same issues - perhaps it depends what the issues are?, maybe there's research to suggest this but wanted to let you know in my case this wasn't true! x
That is good to hear! But no one in my family has had more than two children, purely cos thats all they could have in the time its taken to have them! Then theres my mums bad periods, which as im getting older i seem to be adopting too so who knows!! I guess my mum telling me about her fertility problems planted the seed in my head that i might follow on.
I guess i wont ever know untill that time comes, but to be safe i dont think i'll hang around
