It normally takes him 10 minutes to make me conceive - half an hour if he's in a good mood :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
Started trying when I just turned 25, didn't see a blue line for DS until 27.5.

Then DD appeared when we were least expecting her...age 29.

Think your doctor didn't need to tell you that sentence...doesn't help anyone or anything.

took 1month @ 35years old. 2nd child took 12m with nothing ...but then joined http://www.fertilityfriend.com/fforeg.html & once I did their course it took 1month.

the books say most conceive by 12months.

It took us 3 years before our first son was born. Funny but I fell out of bed one night after a  and :j I was pregnant yeah. Must have tilted something. The second son was a week after I stopped the pill, no prob. Very proud mum.

    Hi

I don't think 27 is old to concieve! - not sure why your doctor told you that?!

I concieved first cycle with both of my children (I was 28 first time and 30 next time)

Think age is not the only factor as demonstrated by the posts here.

Good luck and don't worry about it x

My family are bad reproducers. I worry about it alot that when i come to want a child im going to have to wait as long as my mum did to have me: 13 years.

I know i wont leave it late to start trying cos i dont believe it will happen as quick as, although i guess you never know!!

Hi My mum had various fertility probs and tbh it never crossed my mind that I might face the same issues - perhaps it depends what the issues are?, maybe there's research to suggest this but wanted to let you know in my case this wasn't true! x

Well im 22, came off the pill and then we started trying a year later. Was successful in the first month/attempt! Although everyone is different and i didnt expect it to happen so quickly.

My sister fell pregnant quickly with all three of hers also, and my mom didnt have much trouble either. Think we're all very fertile or lucky in our family!

Main thing is, dont stress yourself out over it-stress and worrying is no good for ttc!

    All the best, x x
