Hi guys, I'm pleased you feel comfortable enough to share things with us Jo!
That is a great line to use BF! well done for thinking of it! lol!
Good luck with your interview today Lynne!!
I am feeling a bit headachey today, think it's because I haven't eaten properly this week, too much socialising, not enough solid meals! I don't have any plans for tonight so I can finally have a sit down evening meal! whew!

Well done Lynne and all the best for today.
BF - Yes it's my wedding pic, it's a bit unusual because it was blurred but I really like the effect. I totally understand the moving situation - we went to see a financial advisor and he said that until I pay off my loan and credit cards then he wouldn't recommend us going for a mortgage. I think OH was shocked at the amount - although I'm sure I told him (well in my head I did).
I'm going to have breakfast now.....,well it might as well be brunch cos it's so late.0 -
BF Credit Crunch a good one, thats thinking on your feet, well done.

Hiya CC, you must try and eat properly. Cant have you falling sick on us. I have always felt comfortable with you all. Its just getting it out that the problem. I have always been a very " IL cope on my own person" but this is too big. My sister describes as a "egg" push top to bottom and it will take something to break me, but push side to side and i will crack straight away. I think this translates to on the surface I appear strong and in control but underneath i am very soft and venerable ?

PIGLET, where you get all you smilies from, I luv them. I know i can copy yours but i lose them in all the posts. Things go so fast on here. Forgot to say. Well done with the walking, way to go. I have walked to work and back every day in the RAIN but i can assure you it was not by choice, more needs must.

I'll post a link to the smilies page this evening, Jo - I have it saved to my favourites at home (but am being a bit naughty and posting this from work!).
Re: the walking, it is definitely a stubborn-ness thing for me. It started when I had my hours cut at work, so decided that being newly "time-rich and cash-poor", I couldn't afford to waste money on bus fares when I was perfectly capable of putting one foot in front of the other. The fact that it has helped me to lose a bit of weight has helped me keep it up!
When it comes to the rain, I am just a typically stubborn Taurean - on Tuesday night, it started to rain when I was 20 minutes from home, but having already walked for 1 hr and 20 minutes, I was d*mned if I was going to get on a bus at that point (because the bus fare is the same whether I travel the whole journey or just a bit of it!!). Tight or what?! :rotfl:

Aww, that's such a sweet illustration! Here's hugs for you Jo egg
Tess, I love your pic, and the blurred does give it a cool effect!! We're in a good situation because we already have a mortgage, however it was a 100% pay interest only mortgage, so it doesn't really feel like we're paying anything off at all:mad:
So crazy, did you choose lo cal, or lo money yesterday?? Drink lots of water, helps with 'muzzy' heads:D
:rotfl: Piglet I'm with you on the bus thing, I used to live an hrs walk away from where I worked and I was the same!!! Well done!Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

Tesscha, that's a shame, will your OH help you out a bit now he knows?
Jo, I know, it hasn't been by choice! I'm craving spag bog as much as choc today, which is a wierd sensation! lol! I'm not a 'cope on my own' type person, I'm a 'whinge bout it then hide from it and hope it'll go away' type person! but I'm trying to change! Don't hide your worries from us, there is no need! xx0 -
I had one 1/2 pint of cider then stuck to soft drinks! noone said a thing when i said i was driving so i was fussing for nothing! I'm a silly paranoid freak!! thanks, I'll get a big glass of water now! xx0

Am logging off for a bit now, as I have to run some errands, but have just eaten a lovely jacket potato with a huge salad and homemade low-fat coleslaw. And the reason for telling you this is...
My "I'm a freak" confession.
The only reason I was able to eat this was because I am on my own in the office at 2nd job this week (boss is abroad). I have real problems eating in front of other people, but only in certain situations. I can eat with Mr P, friends and family, and can eat out in public with others in restaurants, etc. However, I find it very difficult to eat at work in front of people(cannot bring myself to go and eat in the communal kitchen in the office I work in on Mondays/Tuesdays), so find myself eating sandwiches at my desk. But even then I can't eat them "out in public" as it were
- I hide them under the desk, have to break them into mouthful-size pieces and keep up this elaborate bobbing up and down under the desk thing in order to try and eat a bit without anybody seeing!!
And I couldn't contemplate eating solo in a restaurant...
And yet the strange thing is that I am fully aware that people must realise that I do eat - I am a size 20-22 after all... I don't think anybody believes that I exist on fresh air alone! But I worry about people looking at what I am eating and judging me for it...
Well, thats my confession for today! (Thanks for letting me get it off my...not insubstantial...chest!!:rotfl:).
