Hi Everyone,
Hows it going?????????
I just thought i would share a fact with you (i think its a fact so it must be)
I am so proud of all of you and thank you so much
Every time i log on i see someone offering support, someone asking a question, or someone (usually me) just saying hi. I think that its great that we all have the confidence to come on here and post exactly what we think. :j
When you are overwieght (and lets face it, when you are a woman) you over analise and you become sensitive over the silliest things (or i do anyway) but when you are so judgemental of yourself, and find everyone else judging you or treating you diffferently just becuase you are big then it helps to have some brain space.
This site is my brain space - i can come on and say (like today) that im a prat and have swung the other way - all of my positives about loving myself and doing better - yesterday i ate $h!t all day and paid for it - ive not felt so ill from stuffing my face for ages.
Im using the whole positive thing as an excuse to eat rubbish and as a result ive put 3lb on since SUNDAY - how stupid (also for the egal eyed Jo yes that means im still weighing myself every day)
So lay it on me - today i need the kick up the butt.
Well done to everyone else - even if things are looking down then remember a problem shared is a problem halved and just think, with all these brains and wonderful people there is not a problem we cant fix (apart from me:o )0 -
Thanks BF, I reread my post and realised I'd made it seem a bit serious, was just me wondering "aloud" really,
I'v just signed up to do some mystery shopping, hoping that will bring in a little extra cash. I found it suggested on the boost your income article BF told me about. Has anyone else one this, I hope I will be ok just doing it at weekends.0 -
oh - also last night went to the cinema - bought sweets - £5.41!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for the bag
Im so rubbish
Oh, and last night in total i spend £35 - £15 petrol - £15 tea (ate out) and the £5.41 on sweets
Im so rubbish0 -
Hey Puzzled, as you say, we are here to support. If you need a kick up the backside, then here you go (swoosh:p :rotfl: )
Sounds to me though like what you really need is (((hugs))) and someone to tell you that you are not a prat, you had a positive time, and now you're having a rubbish one, but we all do... I went to Wetherspoons yesterday and spent £14 on lunch for me and my sisters as well as eating a burger and chips and a NON DIET pepsiI mean, not at all mse and not at all diet friendly.... it happens.
I daren't weigh myself everyday as I would probably freak, but I have a friend that used to, and it is not easy to stop. Can you try every other day? And sort of wean yourself off it?? Some days are just 'heavy days' my mum is on a diet with me and DH, and the day before our weigh in, she had put on 3lbs, the day of the weigh, she lost half a lb....... go figure:rolleyes:
Draw a line under it and start again hon, you'll be finePersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

oh Puzzled, why do you feel the need to weigh yourself everyday? I want to come and steal your scales!! 3lbs is not enough to beat youreself up over! if you were happy with yourself until you realised you had put it on then that is a real shame! but forgive yourself and move on! tomorrow is another day as Scarlet O'Hara says!
I never expected to get so into a thread like this but i am finding it giving me so much support that gives me the determination to be good and say no to junk food! so thank you EVERYONE! esp BF who I think is going to get sick of being my voice of reason very soon! I appriciate it so much thou! Huge hugs to all you wonderful women!!0 -
Hi guys,
Just thought I'd drop in while I have the chance. I'm trying to catch up with all the posts on this thread since Mon afternoon.
I haven't done anything since I've been in Worthing and don't intend to either. I have been eating whatever I want as well and I'm choosing not to feel guilty about it because I know that I can get back on track when I'm back home.
Just need to not spend too much money though (easier said than done when you're away  ).
Hope to be back on later or tomorrow, and gonna buy some chips now0 -

Me and DD went for a walk to the park ( which is quite far away!) but i was so tired by the time we got there i didnt have the energy to play!
Had some Choc covered raisins today! they are amazing coz it makes you feel like you've eaten a lot more naughty stuff then u actually have and i've even got some left in my pack for later!! GENIUS idea!! lol
oh and had to be weighed at docs today and HIS scales made me an extra 3 lb lighter... which would technically mean I'd lost half a stone ( which i shall continue to tell myself for the time being LOL!!)I can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0 -
