thanks guys for the push to continue. Re inchs, thats just it - my clothes dont feel any different
heading to tesco to do my weekly shop today (a day early as OH seems think we r going to flood tomorrow lol
) so will try and find an inch tape to buy (i dont own one anymore). Ill just have to hope and pray it is some muscle although i cant see the difference.
Jo - pants :rotfl:better than any words id pick up from my OH
ICKA - of course its better to sort your finances out first, i agree with you. its easier to enjoy life when your finances are right. money might not make you happy, but it sure as heck can stop you being unhappy!
Lynne - men r spanners! If your happy with the new job then sod what he thinks of it! But I know how you feel, its nice for somebody to recognise and give you some positive affirmation for what you are doing.0 -
WOW everyones been really busy today! i went back to my home town to visit the Family, and got taken out for lunch and STILL only had a healthy chicken Salad, and a cranberry juice! weighed myself this afternoon ( couldnt wait till tomorrow) and I've lost 4 lbs in 5 days!!!! am so pleased with myself, and have cleared out a load of old clothes and Random house junk! dont think I've saved THAT much money but hey, one thing at a time!
hope you all had a good day
XI can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0 -
ICKA, and gang go off topic at anytime and any direction you want. Isn't that why we are here ? We over eat and over spend for various reasons. The journey to a peaceful state of mind starts here. Thats why I started this, so we can "talk" about what ever is bothering us. Overdraft , could you use to same approach as over eating, small steps. Could you use a little less of your overdraft each month.

Cmc, excellent with the weight loss and clearing out the junk. i always feel fab when Ive cleared junk out. Because I have not been out spending money this week. My spare room is like a spare room. Usually I just open the door and put alls sorts of things in it. Puter is in there too and now i feel all fab, when I'm on it, instead of feeling cluttered.
Well done, onwards and downwards (I like that)

I'm going to have a big ebay blitz Thurs, I took lots of things to a charity shop last week as I feel mean putting it all on ebay, charity shops must be missing out since it came along.
I just looked at the Stardrops thread, it sounds amazing! I'm gutted that i just spent £3 on cleaning stuff when I just could have got that for 60p! I don't know whether to buy it now or wait until I'v used up my other stuff thou? hmmm...0 -
