Evening All
had a good day here, got up and went for a 40 min run and have been good food wise. Put my jeans on this afternoon and they are sooo tight its not funny. I know ive put a bit of weight on but I didn't realise it would make them that tightI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hi all
Quick update from me: weekend was quite good (1 KFC and a bit too much alcohol…but it was the weekend!). Yesterday and today have been good for food (weetabix for breakfasts, healthy homemade sarnies for lunch, and healthy-ish dinners, accompanied by plenty of fresh salad and veggies, and no alcohol!) and I walked home from work both days.
A sneaky peek at the scales yesterday morning told me that I had gone up over the weekend, though, so I am determind to be extra good until Friday now to try and pull it back – I am just ½lb over a round stone number at the moment, so if I could lose 1lb this week, I will get a whole new stones number (which always re-motivates me to keep going…;)). And before anybody says it, yes, I know that weight fluctuates through the week and I shouldn’t keep jumping on the scales…but I’m only human!
Lynne – well done on the new job! :T
LilMissEmmyLou – sorry to hear about the maintain(actually, I think maintaining is pretty good, but you definitely deserved a loss after that detox!!
). Like the others have said though, you’ll probably find your clothes getting loser and that you’re changing shape.
Icka – sorry to hear about the problems with OH. :grouphug: Hope you can sort them one way or another…
Cmcconnell – congrats on your loss! :j Sorry to hear about the CCCS form - keep strong and keep out of that fridge!

Evening (well technically its morning) Ladies.
I haven't read the whole thread:osorry, I just wanted to come on and say hi. I felt so bad when I came back from my holiday that I posted here and then didn't say/do anything. I have been thinking and wondering what to do.
I was thinking about Christmas. I want to do a proper DFW Christmas buy thoughtful presents early, make hampers etc and be able to go out and enjoy myself.
I am fat. Caught sight of myself in a shop window. hmmm. just needed to remind myself. didnt help AT all that I was out with two skinny friends.
There are 19 weeks till Christmas(sorry if this frequent mention of the Cword is scary anyone! )
So I think I will combine the two, like you lot are doing but i am going to start on the 1st of Sept. I am on holiday at the moment and have practical stuff to sort out here.
I want to be fully prepared and organised for this. I sort of feel like it is crucial that I stop now I am nearly thirteen stone for God's sake.
So if its ok I will read the thread, steal all your good ideas and come up with a plan whilst trying to enjoy my holiday.
so sleepy hope it all makes sense.

Morning, just wanted to pop on and say hello, although I need to put my head down and actually do some work today (sheepish grin).
Icka, i am thinking of you, it sounds like a tough situation, and as though his attitude to money is totally different to yours.. I honestly dont know if I could live with that!!!! Keep us updated, and I second what Jo said about off-topic, I would hope there's nothing really OT here - I mean I was talking about moths the other day!
I see this board as a group of wonderful overweight women(there aren't any guys are there???!) in debt, who want to become friends by supporting each other in all aspects of their lives.
Take care all xxPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T
