Morning Jo,
Did you have a good shift last night, how does it feel to be a stalwart??

Morning everyone, I can not believe this weather! There was some amazing blue lightning last night and now I keep expecting Noah to sail past my window!
I was supposed to go camping as a little budget celebration of 6months with my boyf but won't be going in this rain!
Well done CMC, that is such a gret loss, but I don't know what a CCC is?
Food is going ok, I'v decided to give myself a little treat each day for a while to ease myself into a proper diet, mon i had one stick of twix and yesterday i had one stick of kitkat, fingers crossed i can keep it up!
Great to see you Buffy, enjoy your holiday!!0 -
Hi everyone
Congrats on your stalwart status, Jo!
Know what you mean about the weather, Crazychatter - I walked to work this morning in bright sunshine with blue skies, but less than an hour after I arrived I popped round the corner to the Post Office and in the time it took me to queue to post a parcel (about 3 minutes!) when I came out it was chucking it down with rain and the sky was black! (Of course, I hadn't bothered to take an umbrella with me, so got soaked and now have frizzy hair...:p ). Well done on the chocolate rationing, by the way - it takes real willpower to have just one stick of twix or kitkat...not sure I could leave the other half for another time...
So far, so good for me today. Weetabix for breakfast, and have brought a jacket potato for lunch to have with tuna/mayo/sweetcorn (am lucky because I can cook it in the oven at work here). Am also going to try and go for a walk at lunchtime - need to return some bits to M&S, which will be about a mile and a half in total...but that depends on the weather...
Speak to you later. Hope you are all having a good day!

took me ages to pluck up the courage to ring them, but now they talk to my creditors for me ,and are arranging easier repayments for me.
Had Soup for lunch ( early i know) it was YUM!!:jI can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0 -
Oh, that sounds good CMC, well done for going to them, I hope they can help you!!
Not sure what to do tonight, I'v got a leaving party to go to in the work bar and can't decide what to drink, cider is cheaper but vodka & diet coke is less fattening, I would actually rather not drink and then drive home but the people I'm going to be with wouldn't like that. That seems odd written down but they want a big send off and expect a big evening of merriness, hmm, this all seems wrong and childish. There is also the problem of the barman, he often pours me a drink without me asking, or even when I say I don't want one! I'm going to really try not to drink, can't afford another cab this week. Sorry if this all sounds wierd, but TV is quite a big drinking industry and having a bar onsite means it is normal to go to there afterwork everyday, but I do usually just have a squash.0 -

crazy, can you drive in and say you have somewhere you need to drive to aferwards and say how sorry you are etc...? It's hard when everyone just expects you to drink... I often go to work functions, and end up having to take £20 for raffles and charity stuff alone:eek: trouble is I'm an employee, so it's my job to be there:eek:
Enjoy it, whatever you end up doing:) xPersonal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T
