Hi everyone,
Started today on a positive note! went for a long walk round town this morning and spent NOTHING!!! plus having to carry a 2 year old who refuses to sit in her buggy is pretty good excercise!!
And am now going to take a leaf out of Jo's book and sort out some junk!
ICKA wel done on the work out ( i dont even try and do 'organised excercise' / gym for fear of embaresment... except swimming) not sure how tall you are but if i weighed 10st 5lb I'd be doing cartwheels! lol and no alcohol is a great idea which i hadnt even thought of!! full of lots of unwanted calories!!!
right off to the unknown which some people may call the cupboard under the stars!!
xI can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0 -
Well done on all of the exercise everyone!!!!!!
We were bad to day and visited ronald's shop to have breakfast - for the first time ever we checked the calories - we had 700 each just for breakfast!!!!
So for lunch i made a good choice and had a lush chicken salad wrap - making good choices and not feeling bad, just chilling lol
Also went to see OH's family and loads of people were at the house which was great - they do my head in (what family doesnt) but they are all lovely and so supportive and make me feel so loved
(can you guys tell im working on the loving bit - im working so hard on not dwelling on stuff and not over eating)
Have a good weekend all

Thankyou you for the thought. Someone did actually offer me money but I refused there kind offer. I had to prove to myself that I could get through this without any financial help from anyone. It has given me a whole new insight into "what i want and what i actually need", I have learned some very valuable lessons. I can certainly say "I will never ever be in this situation again" big hug from me to you, for the very very kind offer .

very well done, at least you counted what you ate. Now next time you go, cos you will, you in fact must. If its part of your life you have to work with it, not cut it out. You can either go as a very rare treat or next time, just make one change and the next time make another. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Just small steps.
puzzled i am so happy that you are working on the "I love me". It Will all fall into place as you go along. you are a beautiful person and don't let anyone take that away from you. :A

Hey everyone - just got back from a lovely day at Warwick castle (free entry!!) and thought I'd pop on to say hi!
Icka, thanks for your support, it has been great for our relationship to share the burden.
Lynne - am crossing my fingers for you getting the job!!!:T
Jo, you will do so great now you've got good at budgeting... look at me, today I went to Warwick castle and instead of buying loads to eat, I took a picnic and our own drinks, and grumbled at paying £3.30 for the carpark:rotfl:
Hope everyone's having a great weekend, speak to you when I get back to work on Monday

Sounds like everyone has had a really good day. I was doing really really well until about an hour ago and then just went and ate 2 slices of bread and a packet of choc buttons...why I didn't need them, feel gross now and annoyed with myself.
PLus point I did take DD swimming so did some exercise, booked her into swimming lessons(feel this is really really important even if we have to go without something ourselves)
Off to make a list of things to do tomorrow....lets hope the rain stopsI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Good evening girls,
I'm just in from another exciting Saturday night out:p . had dinner at Mums, spicy mince and rice, then dropped her off at the bingo, went to Mr T with my sister, then we took a drive up to let her see my brother's new house, (which is very nice). Then went home to mums, my uncle who was here last weekend called and I was on the phone for 45minutes. It is a shame, he is tormented about poorly, and wonders if he should have took him back with him. He would never have made the journey, so there wouldn't have been any point. He feels guilty about him being in the hospital again but it wasn't his fault at all. He has been looking at websites for rehab centres, but I have done all that as well, poorly needs to want to go to a place, but he doesn't want it at the moment.
I thought I was going to have a poorly free day, and I didn't. He just trundles along getting p****d all the time and everyone else is worried sick, but that's life I suppose.
I have been quite good food wise but won't be tomorrow, it is breakfast day, I get a fry at my mum's house on a Sunday when DH is away. Sometimes, I ban him from coming back if it interferes with breakfast day:rotfl: (only kidding).
I don't know what we will do for dinner, mum and dad are invited out to the top Chinese in Glasgow, I love it, but it is very expensive, £15.00 for a curry, it is worth it as a special treat but the prices are      .
It is my young cousin's 21st birthday so they are invited and me and the sisters will have to fend for ourselves. We might go somewhere else as a treat, but nowhere as expensive as where they are going to. We'll see what happens.
I'll have another look around on here and then of to bed.
Night all,
SL x0
