No need to aploagize. We all have are lives to live. i dont want anyone to feel they must find time to post. Although its helpful to post and chat, we do have lives to lead. i have had a sh*te week and have another one to face, but i have learned more this week about my self than I have in 50yr.

I know what you mean about being tired I have been working overtime a lot lately. It does wear you out. Glad you popped in for a chat.

Thought i would officialy hand over my 'newbie' title to you! this thread moves pretty fast but everyones really nice and all share our ideas (and mistakes lol). i watched this thread for days before asking to join.

And had a stressy call from my mobile phone company tonight which resulted in 3 choc bars and a bag of crisps!! :-( and i'd been SOOOOO good today food wise!
Breakfast: warm water with Lemon, and 2 apples
Lunch: Salad and 1 pitta bread
Dinner: Grilled chicken and a home made Salsa ( which i was very proud of!)
and no snacs until my 8 o clock call from the MOB COM

well i have been awful today but the evening ended with fish and chips (home made), followed by 2 sneaky ice creams from the freezer while no-one was watching...oh and then a slice of bread and a packet of crisps.

Tomorrow is another day and I will get up and go for a run in the morning..this always helps me and I have a half marathon to do in september...yikes!

Hiya, don't worry about it. You have had a excellent day. so you were stressed and had choc n crisps, its nothing mega. forget it and move on. next time you get stressed just cut the crisps or a choccy bar. and the next time cut another. We are all about small steps ans slowly on here. Don't make promises to yourself that you cant keep, because when you lapse you will feel S**t, Do not set yourself up for a fall.

Will you try and do something for me please ? please try and not to sneak food. Now i dont mean dont eat it, I just mean try not to "sneak eat it". If you want to eat it, then eat it. No matter who is around. Try and bring it out in the open. You will be amazed at how it make you feel.

totally agree if you have to 'sneak eat it' then it suggests u feel guilty about it / or you think you shouldnt be doing it. which is a good thing coz unfortunatley for me the guilt comes to late and I've already done it!! infact tnight my OH said "3 Choc bars in one go are u sure u wont regret that?" to which i said NO as i carried on eating and then about an hour ago i wa like S**T its ok will try harder tomorrow, its not the end of the world and im probably still under my Rec' calorie intake for the day (?)
P.S am HATING the fact it is school holidays as our local pool has been invaded by small children and my quiet morning swim is gonna have to be abbandonned till sept!

Hiya, i so know where you coming from, with the "just buy what you want and never think where the money is gong to come from. I had a total disregard for money. I don't know how old you are but I am sooo pleased that you are now taking the sensible approach. i am 51 and only now realizing how wrong I have been, to just bury my head in the sand.

I have in the past for example.

Received a phone bill, filed it, in my ignore pile. got out a couple of days later and say bought a dress. then got the reminder for the bill, gone out at a later date and say wasted 20 in town. then i got a final reminder, ignored that. then gone out with Friends for a meal and drink and blew another £60, Then they cut me phone off, so then had to lie to OH as to why phone was off. Then had to find the money fast to get it back on.

AND ALL FOR WHY ??? All that hassle and all i had to do was pay the bill ????

That is just an example i have many many of these story's. I feel you are only young CC, please take a small bit of advice from me. Get sorted now, pay your bills on time and keep your debt to the very minimum better still only buy if you can pay cash. Don't end up living your life like i have. I soooo regret it now. the stress i have been through and the lies i have told. its is no way to live.
