Morning All
Feel quite refreshed this morning, new start and all that. I know there are many reasons for my overeating that I need to deal with and I intend to start that today too....think I will be busy (maybe busy enough to stop me eating!)
Hope everyone else has a good dayI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

oh my gosh i cant read through all the pages ive missed - faaaar too many lol. Well done to all the losers, and maintains - fingers crossed this week will be better for any who gained
Ive been working all week at a summer scheme so lots of up and about on my feet stuff. Walked the 2 mile in every day bar one when i was running late and so got picked up at the half way mark. I did have some naughties to eat though *booo hiss*.
My detox kit arrived this week too, so as i was out late last night with those i was doing the summer school with (we went for curry, but i was good, had the side order of sag aloo, mixed with 1/2 a portion of rice and 1/2 a nan bread and a diet coke) i am detoxing today rather than yesterday as planned. Will let those who where interested know how it goes.
So are there any important updates i missed? anyone want to fill me in lol?0 -

Morning Sallyx, glad you feeling so positive. I have read lots and lots on over eating and over spending and all seem to agree. Over spending and eating are symptoms of another problem, and that you are self medicating another problem. So we need to address those issues before we can hope of dealing with the symptoms. (so they say). Keep posting and we will compare notes
have a god day

Fab to hear from you. i know this thread is going from strength to strength. Lots gone on, while you have been, running around all week. Not for me to speak of other issues but if you look for £9 to last 12 days thread you will get the gist of the time i am having at the moment, but i am half way through now and can see light end the end of the tunnel. Support has been fabulous.

I've just been speaking to my friend who is an old work colleague. She met my old boss who now has his own company, and he is looking for a telesales person!! I hope he hasn't found anyone because that could be my job, and I could do that from the shop no problem. And, he knows that I can do it no probs, as he trained me up!!! But, I've lost his card with his phone number on it grrrrrrrrrrrr:mad: . I will need to wait until Monday to call his office, but I have sent an e-mail out to him via his website.
I just hope that someone else hasn't got it, I will be raging!!
It is raining cats and dogs here, how is it with all of you?

The most empowering feeling is the realization that you don't need "STUFF". The needs vs. wants debate, of course. Materialism is a widespread disease in America, and it's up to us to change our feelings toward money and things.
Just come across this. i am trying to find the full artical. I have soooo learned this, this week.

Buffy I know the feeling pet I was tagged last weekend on y friends facebook profile in a photo of her birthday. I immediately untagged myself. All I could see was a massive belly over white jeans and a double chin. It made me feel sick.
But since then I have not had any alcohol (its only a week I know but thats good for me) and I have been exercising every day.
Lynne I really hope you get the job sweetie you deserve it.
Jo thank you for always being so supportive you are a star. Would have offered you money on the other thread (thats if I actually had any to give to you ) but its the though that counts.
Went to the gym this morning and did a work out nearly killed myself. Wonder when I can do some exercise without looking like my head is going to explode.
But its 6 weeks and counting...........................................
So much work to do - but its only six weeks so we can push push pushThread softly becuase you thread on my dreams0
