Hello all, sorry haven't been in much and thanks for the kind words.

I posted a thread about Adios, then realised that I hadn't even mentioned it in here!! Anyone got any stories to tell about this product? It seems to be having some good effects on me. Mostly, it is stopping me wanting to snack! Miracle!

  • Ok opened this detox today to start it. 1 its supposed to be taken (the 4 sachets) with pink grapefruit juice which i hate, so ive substituted with apple juice lol. Also when they say 24 hours they should say 48 really as it expects u to have done a day of eating what they tell you to and putting in some faff that she sells too. I guess that would make them more money - but no thanks ill stick with the actual 24 hour one of sachets with juice, lots of water, fruit and dancing (yes it actually tells you to dance!).

So yes, ive had the 1st one and OMG its gross!!!!!!! really struggled to drink it all in one go. Not looking fwd to my next one at 9pm lol but ah well, will take it anyway and do a little dance mat between now and then (after DD is in bed). Will update how it goes in the morning.

Tara - i have to say adios has been around a decade or more and i cant remember ever hearing anything fantastic about it - even when i worked in boots.

Sally - i hate when i do that too! they really do just feel like empty calories and so not worth it! On another forum I use a girl has the line "nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" which is so true when u have had a good day and ruin it right at the end! but today is another day :)

Thank jo you are a wee pet.

Had bad eating day today went out to lunch it was a massive buffet and I ate loads but I did not have any pudding and believe me there was almost a mile long of them. So Im very proud of myself.

I went to the gym this morning and did a work out for about 45 mins made me feel ok after wards.

I have exactly 5 weeks until the wedding on the 13th of September. So I have to drop at least a dress size and at least a stone. Tried on my dress today and I cant get it over my shoulders with my arms up. Not good I hear you say. And I know most of you are thinking you need a plan B just in case. Point is I cant afford a plan b. SO plan A has to work

So girls its only 5 weeks so have to do a massive push.

Im going to go for a walk in a bit to stop me wanting to eat. And the olympics is on and looking at all those fit people make me feel very fat and very lazy and want to get up and do something positive.

    Ok rant over.

Girls I dont know if I have posted this before

But you may not know but when I get a bee in my bonnet about something (looking fab for wedding - well actually lets be realistic this is MSE not Lourdes (thats the place the virgin mary appeared I think - in case you didnt know) ). Anyway rambling as usual icka, But I get all geeky and research things in fine detail.

So I was researching fitness and being slim etc etc. And for the last 10 years or so we have been told by the media and everyone else that if we do 30 mins of exercise 3 days a week it is enough to keep fit.

But there has been a massive research project on it and in todays world due to the higher % sugar and salt and general gunk in our foods. Women need to do 50 mins exercise 5 days a week to stay slim.

So I have decided to try to walk quickly every where, take the stairs instead of the lifts, try not use my car to go short distances (saving petrol as well),

Sorry I wasjust having a bit of a brain fart there ;) but it made sense in my own head. Its like Im having a conversation with myself but its actually with you all. Oh my god its finally happened I have finally lost it.:rotfl:

Ah well it was bound to happen eventually

    xx

  • icka - when your watching TV and that do some tummy crunches - or get tins of beans and do arm exercises with them - or when they had that fit the nation or something yrs ago on the BBC they did an exercise called rearenders (to do when u watch eastenders - get it? lol) which is where u stand up and squat down till ur almost sat back on ur seat, but then get up again. They expected u to do it for 30 mins a day - so 1 tv soap is a good way to exercise a few times a week :) Good luck!

Evening All, started off a good day by going for an 11k run...then I got soooo hungry and haven't been able to stop. Not an excuse but am pre-M and that is always lethal.
Had a chat to my sis last night and she is going to get on the loose weight and get fit campaign with me.
Decided I need to get the ball rolling on those things that I want to address in my life and by end of september I hope to have achieved the following
    Aims for September -
    lost 10 pounds
    signed up for OU course
signed up for UCAS and decided on course for next sept
saved up enough to pay off HSBC overdraft £2200
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
    Finally Debt Free...

Thanks LilMiss will go into the cupboard just now

Gosh sally you did so so well today, If I ran that far I would eat an eintire tub of Ben and Jerrys (alsa the thoughts are bringing a tear to my eye)

I will go down stairs find some beans and do some exercise. So determined to lose weight. Never ever want to be embarrassed when I look at a photo of me again.

Sally went back to Uni two years ago its tough but its is so rewarding and the best decision of my life. You will never regret it. Well done for getting your sister involved must be nice to have a sister to drag along for a run.
