:naughty: Hi to bluejeans & co, i too am just embarking on losing weight & taking more exercise to lose XS weight put on (again!) but was very ill last year so know how it happened this time!!
As bluejeans said "the road is long" but remember if we travel a long road it is worth it when we arrive??!
My OH is very supportive & even tho he does say he can see my XS weight!! he is saying we will not buy choc, cake etc so its not there for me to eat, even tho he can eat Mars bars for England and not gain weight!!
Let's beat this once & for all girls (&boys too if there are any?)

Fab to have you on board with us. We are turning into quite a little band, Everyone is so supportive in this thread. I have revealed things and talked of things i have hidden for years.

My OH is thin too, although he has put on 1 half stone since packing up smoking 5yrs ago. so this time he is helping me by wanting to get some of his XS off too.

Look forward to reading your posts and chatting with you.

Hi Everyone, I have been reading this thread and love it, you're so open and having the same issues as me, so now I am going to try to do something about it as you are!

Bluejeans, you are amazing for starting and keeping this thread going! I will try to be good just for you! I don't want to let you down!

I lost two stone with Slimming world last year but just can't face a proper strict regime again so I think I will try to cut down on snacks and portion sizes at first!

I have a huge cupboard at work filled with biscuits and chocs that are free so it is unbelievably hard not to dive in everyday! but I will try!

I am about £9000 in debt not including my student loan (£18,000) but have set myself a £10 a day challenge, basically I try to only spend £70 a week on anything other than rent and bills, I've managed two weeks ok but this week has gone wrong already!

I can walk to work in 50mins but drive in which takes half hour so I really should drive, and I will from tomorrow!

I just need to stop making excuses to myself and get in gear!

Whew, I'm sorry for going on and on there, I just needed to own up to it all!

    xx Luc xx

Glad to have you with us. If You can trawl through thread up to now, you will find a post from me that says.I work night-shift alone, with cupboard, fridges, pantry and freezer full of food that i have full access to. So i know where you coming from on that one.

keep posting and chatting and you will find everyone so fabulously supportive.

    hiya!

This is my first ever post.. was a bit of lurker here before hand.

My eating/finances seem to go hand in hand because when I have a large bank balance (ie after pay day) I seem to have to wear the larger clothes.. and when I have very little in way of £'s I'm back into my smaller clothes..

    HELP!!

    Kxx

O I am defiantly with you on that one. My over eating and spending are joined and seem inseparable. I am working on losing them both, but don't know what i will do with out them. They have been my only friends for soooooo long. but now i have all of you's so working hard to "dump" them.

    Glad you with us.

Hiya Conrad, not sure if you staying in with us or just popped in for a chat, which ever it is, it will be nice to have a male point of view on things. As us girls despair of OH thinking patterns sometimes.
