Hi all.
Can I join please?
Read about 2/3 of thread and love it.
replying now while still awake.
Holiday in 6 weeks so 14lbs by then would be great!
I've always figured being slimmer will be cheaper in the long run, I'd use so much less sun cream for a start!
Tend not to spend unnecessarily through the week - thanks to Cafcgirl & a previous challenge - but the chocolate & other badies somehow fall into the trolley during the weekly shop
Starting this challenge from now!
Hardest bit will be cutting down on the booze  and trying to exercise.. even a little!!
But, less booze, more ££££'s & less llbs!!
Hope you'll all have me in your gang
Pip
PS bluejeans
I'm from Co. Durham too!!

I am sooooo with you on that one. I used to think my life was going to be fantastic WHEN I WAS THIN. I have now spent 15yr trying to get thin and waiting for my life to start. Well how much of a waste is that. 15 bl**dy yrs of my life. But know more i am determined to enjoy every minute of it now. What also brought me round to this way of thinking is. My bestest friend, aged sixty died in February of this year year. Found out he had cancer and within 3 month GONE. HE ASK ME NOT TO WASTE MY LIFE, IT WAS THE MOST PRECIOUS THING YOU CAN EVER HAVE. Now I'm crying, please you do the same for me.
Don't set yourself a target, if you don't get there it will make you feel sh*t. Just aim to do your very very best and get off as much as you can. No numbers.

my weakness is nuts crisps (Pringles
) and all things savoury and nibbly.
Currently my eye-teeth are on offer for some nutsor I will go to bed.
My weaknesses OMG:eek: Would know where to start. I have loads of them and not all edible either  . I am more of a savory ( not I hasten to had unsavory) sort of person, much prefer chips to cream etc.

I'm trying to walk to work each day - or maybe 3 out of 5 days.....
At the moment I'm trying to think of excuses for *not* doing it tomorrow.
But as I'm out 3 evenings this week, I really should walk tomorrow......
Hiya, how is the walking going. 3 out of 5 would be brilliant but don't beat your =self up about it. I lapsed a few times on my walking to work. Just do as much as you possibly can. its all about doing best. Not punishing ourselves. Thats how we all got here. Not enough love and attention from ourselves to ourselves. Well thats my opinion anyway.
Live for today we may not be here tomorrow. AND while we are living for today, try the best we can to make small changes, so that we are here tomorrow.

Hi all
Have had a good day today…
Breakfast: 2 weetabix with skimmed milk
Lunch: 2 ham rolls (with a little bit of butter and mustard)
Snack: WW blueberry bar
Dinner: Cold roast chicken, couscous with roasted courgettes, peppers & chickpeas, and a big green salad, followed by one of the little pieces of Gu carrot cake (well, I said it was good...not perfect!!)
Also walked home from work – didn’t really want to because it was so hot, but made myself because I need to rectify this weekend’s overindulgences!!
On the downside(?), my lovely boss bought me a box of Swiss chocolates today– I work for such a lovely guy (who has no idea that I am trying to lose weight!). Am going to be strong and try and not open them until we have visitors round (because neither Mr P or I need half a box of chocolates, but if I open them, we will eat them just “because they are there”!!
).
Piglet

And to update on myself
Good and bad, Not so good with the food yesterday but today is another day. Good on the dealing with debt front. Yesterday i sent off two letters, registered post as always advised to do, by wonderful helpful people on this site. Asking for my CA's. This is not a way, not to pay my debts but to give me some bargaining power, as I cannot afford to pay the amounts that they are asking for. and they are pressuring me to do so. So I will see what affect the letters have ? I know that is why I my eating wasn't so good yesterday. I hate confronting things and I just bury them until they hit me right in the face.
Now that i have become friends with you all and I am comfortable with my eating issues with you all. i am now going to start talking to you about my debts too. I started this thread to talk about both. Now i feel i can talk openly and freely about both. It will be a big step for me and I am hoping that telling you all about both issues will help me more.As i am fully aware that they both go had in had, and that I must address both to heal them both.
I cant explain to you all what you all mean to me, everyone of you. You are such a joy and help to me. A never ending source off support.
Out with friend today, catch up with you all later.
Have a good day and remember. All we can do is our best.

Now Ive said all that, I want to go and get something to eat. Not at all hungry. I'm thinking about it and why i want to eat, and the nearest emotion i can put to it is "vunerable" ?
