Hello Hello!
never got a chance to log on yesterday but it wasnt too bad a day. Went to the shop to buy some bananas ( value ones) cheap AND healthy - can't say better than that!
Today wasnt so good, OH treated me to lunch, was far too tasty and i ate far too much! As a result i took the long walk home!
Was thinking about joining the gym tomorrow..... aargh im not too sure. I think it would give me more motivation to exercise than just doing it in the house. I dont know if i can overcome my fear of exercising in puiblic! ( stupid i know!). And the expense.... thats another thing....
Hmm, any ideas how you guys keep motivated active on the cheap?

I'm trying to walk to work each day - or maybe 3 out of 5 days.....
At the moment I'm trying to think of excuses for *not* doing it tomorrow.
But as I'm out 3 evenings this week, I really should walk tomorrow......0 -
ive been fairly good today. We went to gulliver land today with DD, I did have a feast ice cream and the last of DDs twister BUT i waited to have lunch for when we got home so less calories and less money spent. Also brought our own drinks so saved on buying myself drinks - which i would have bought loads of with it being soooo hot. Was 30 degrees on the cars temp reader when we left.
Still waiting ont he DVD player making its way down the stairs to do Davina - it best be down tonight or ill be cross!0 -
Hi Everyone,
Feeling less poo today, lovely hubby took me out to a local steam rally and despite the sun burn (and the naughty food) we had a great day and im feeling much less stressed, he always knows the right thing to do to cheer me up
Edit: list of the food ive eaten today to shame myself into eating less rubbish and more good food
Breakfast
4 slices grilled bacon
1 grilled sausage
4 fried mushrooms
3 slices fried black pudding
2 slices of toast
No snacks
Lunch (while out about 5 hours later)
One pork roast roll with stuffing and apple sauce
250grams of real home made fudge (there are still a few slices left in the fridge for later)
Tea
2 slices of bread and butter
4 slices of cheese (i cut this too thickly so each slice was probably about half a cm each)
One large orange
Drinks
4 bottles of water
1/2 a bottle of Dr Pepper (full of nasty sugar)
2 glasses of squash
Well done on all that exercise everyone!!!
I bought a wii fit and managed to do 12 days on the trot but i havent touched it for about a week. So tomorrow im going to have a go at getting up early again to see if i can do some exercise, because thats the ONLY way i know ill loose anything.

Hi Everyone
Hope everyone’s had a good day today – it has been so hot in London(although its looking like it might rain in a little while…I hope so because it was too hot to sleep last night, and I would like to sleep better this evening!).
We had a lovely day today with Mr P’s parents, although they took us out to lunch (at Pizza Express –yum!) which wasn’t so good for the weightwatching, but we didn’t have starters or desserts. Also resisted a cake when we stopped off for a coffee this afternoon, so felt quite pleased with myself for that (everybody else had one!). And the best bit, I have had a NSD today…
Well done on the walking, BabyJayne! I too have a fear of exercising in public, so I am not brave enough to join a gym. At the moment, I am just walking as often as possible, and trying to improve my fitness/drop a few pounds that way…
LilMissEmmylou and Puzzledbubbles, your days today sound lovely…I’m particularly jealous about the homemade fudge, Puzzled – mmmmm, I lurrrrrve fudge!!
Haven’t had any dinner this evening – still not hungry (combination of lovely lunch and the heat!). However, we do have a fridge full of food which didn’t all get eaten this weekend, so I may have some salad-y bits in a little while, and I need to make a meal plan for this week, which uses up all the leftovers without piling on the pounds.Think I need to go and work out how much room I have in the freezer and what bits I can transfer into there!
Here’s to a good week for all of us…!

fudge is now all gone
and ive cracked open a vodka (but diet coke, thats ok right???)
Pizza express sounds fab piglet!!!! I LOVE PIZZA
Well done for not going for cake, OH asked me all day if i wanted an ice cream (he was going to pay and everything) but i resisted, made up for it with the fudge thou!!
ON the meal plans, we did this for 6 weeks, and i kept a note of them, then what we do now is repeat those 6 weeks and add the odd new meal in here and there and so far its going ok (mind you its only week 8 over all)
Makes the shopping list so much easier!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,
I'm all ready for tomorrow. I've made dinner which is chilli and have got a salad ready for lunch, will have it in a sandwich or a roll.
I had my fantastic breakfast and had meatballs for dinner. It usually is a sunday dinner today, but my sister wanted this, so that's what we got, I'm not complaining though! I have just eaten a chocolate bar but have got pears, kiwis and bananas in preperation for tomorrow. I will weigh myself in the morning to find out the bad news.LilMissEmmylou and Puzzledbubbles, your days today sound lovely…I’m particularly jealous about the homemade fudge, Puzzled – mmmmm, I lurrrrrve fudge!!
Piglet, I wonder if you like tablet, I am a champion at making this. It is gorgeous, but very fattening, ingredients, a bag of sugar, condensed milk, full fat milk and butter, very slimming, not!!:rotfl:
I am going for it big style tomorrow, no cheating allowed. I am defo getting my Cv ready for inspection by icka tomorrow and hope to hear from the agency, there were a few jobs I fancy.

Hi Puzzled
Vodka and diet coke is excellent- much better for you than wine or beer...
Well done on resisting the ice cream!
Agree on the meal plans - we normally try and do this, because it keeps the wastage down and, like you say, makes the shopping easier - have just got to try and incorporate the leftovers now...

Maybe I could post you some the next time I make it, I don't know how well it would travel though. Everyone always says it is the best one they have tasted. I don't know what I do that is different, just a fluke I guess. A couple of people have said that I could sell it but I don't think it would be worth the hassle. I'd better not make it for a while because I am being good just now:A . My mum has been dropping heavy hints about it though, her bingo pals are always asking her if I have made any more of it.:rotfl: I've just thought, she might have a wee stall selling sweeties in the bingo to pay for her books!!0
