BabyJayne, each to their own where the gym is concerned but I find it easier to exercise at home or outdoors then on a stationary bike/treadmill - and you have the satisfaction of not having to fork out £30-40 a month for the privilege!!! And walking is great exercise...

Good to hear about everyone's day, a real mixed bag!!! Mine has been ok food-wise but I haven't done much exercise... ah well.

  • Hi everyone

I had a fairly good day (sunday)

Went food shopping for fruit and cold meat for my lunches at work this week, and I payed my friend into the cinema as I have a cinema card that was the only money I spent.
Get paid today so starting my spending diary again to see what I'm spending all my money on!

Food wise I had a yoghurt for breakfast, baked potato and chees for lunch and a chicken chargrill and chips for my tea a chocolate biscuit, popcorn (shared a regular size) a weightwatchers lemon cheescake and an apple as snacks during the day so don't think I did all that badly but could do better!

    Have a good week

Re the gym.... think I might wait another few weeks and see how i do just wandering around here, there and everywhere. The weather is not soo good today, will see if it brightens up later as need to pop to the bank to pay some pennies in.

Ooh, i love fudge too, dont think you can beat our local one - don't buy it very often, but its always a little treat!
Anyway must be off this seat and get myself moving!

    Have a good day everyone

I meant to say as well, going to the gym makes NO SENSE in the summer as it is so nice and bright in the evenings, you may as well join in November if at all! But I would imagine that a few weeks of walking outside in the nice weather will make you change your mind...

Morning all. Sorry I didn't say hi yesterday, lurked a bit, but all the talk of fudge was doing terrible things to my will-power! I managed to have a good day and then stuffed it all up while watching tv last night.
Normal brekkie low fat natural yogurt & fruit salad with a gallon of coffee.
BBQ ribss & chicken with LOADS of salad (slimming world red day) phew!
Wasn't hungry for the rest of the day, but had exotic fruit salad for dinner with low fat fromage frais.
Then I stuffed my face with a freshly baked scone, thick with butter and homemade strawberry jam & a HUGE bowl of cereal while I was watching tv.
I wasn't even hungry!

Don't beat yourself up about it - I know it always worse when you've done well all day and then had a slip up.

Today I have already had chocolate! But have only spent £1.26 (on fruit/bread) and hopefully that's me till midweek.

    Hi Girls,

Well, weighed myself this morning and am 11st 7lbs:mad:  . I've been good today though, breakfast 1 slice of toast and tea, lunch 1 ham salad roll and coffee and a kiwi. So just dinner to go, chilli for that and then maybe a banana as a snack. I don't feel hungry or anything but that might just be the heat.

Just spoke to an employment agency on the phone. These guys can be right idiots, I told him about 1 of the jobs I fancy and he said that I don't have the right experience, how the f*** does he know? I could do it standing on my head:mad: . (Sorry about the outburst!!).

I've sent him my Cv in, so we will see what happens there.

Bluejeans, I told my mum about Dr Finlays casebook and she just laughed and she said, I don't think so!! We both agree though, that my nana was quite like the lady on there, she liked giving people tea and feeding them, we had a good laugh about it.

Hope you have all had a good Monday, it will soon be Friday!!!

    Speak soon,
    SL x

tara - well done on the low spend day. Was saying to OH today that this is the first week in aaaages we havent been in and out of shops like a yoyo buying food. Only our main shop on wednesday and for a few bits on treat day (friday) as we only buy them on the treat day to stop the temptation while its in the house lol
